This improvisation tutorial is suitable for all instruments, and ideas are taught with piano and sheet music. The lesson goes through 30 approaches to soloing over a 2-5-1-6 progression in Bb Major. Ideas are introduced and you can play along with call and response exercises.
I recommend targeting one or two ideas per practice session, and play through the video; even if you are practicing something different with your fingers you will still learn new ideas aurally. No need to rush through learning all of the exercises - you can have a lot of fun with any of them in isolation! Aim for effortless mastery before tackling new ideas.
