I remember watching this game live. I heard that Drose was starting because Tyus Jones and Jeff Teague were out with injuries and I knew Derrick Rose was about to show the world he still got game. All the great comments that people said Drose dressed up as 2011 Drose for Halloween were hilarious, but man I loved watching him back in Chicago. He just made all these crazy layups and floaters that left you saying how in the world did that go in!? Derrick Rose isn't exactly the same player as the one in 2011 but he's reinvented himself to fit into todays game and be a quality starting point gaurd. I'm so happy and excited that Tom Thibodeau gave this man another chance. The goal this year for Derrick Rose is to stay healthy and either win most improved player of the year or 6th man of the year and I feel like he no doubt deserves it. Even though he wasn't an all star this year, he's still an all star to all of us. So proud of this man! Really hope he goes back to Chicago before he retires so we can hear Stacey King say that infamous phrase, " OHHHHHH, TOO big, TOO strong, TOO fast, TOO good! Derrick 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

So, as fate would have it Derrick faced Utah the team that cut him and dropped 50 on them and stopping the final opportunity for them to win the game by blocking Exum in the corner as he went to shoot the game winning 3.
