I had lost Ilyas Bhai's number when my phone crashed last year and was delighted to find his number here once again. Upon calling him, I received the terrible news that he has passed away a few months ago. He was a very humble and polite gentleman. Rest in peace.

sir, you have explored a lot of vinyl stores in kolkata and asked almost same type of questions to the sellers but neither asked them to show their vast collections through your blog nor asked about the price of the vinyl.please do the same in your next blog.Best wishes.

Price is unbelievable here these days. I bought a fantastic Doobie brothers lp for 15 rupees in 2006. Many in fact. Today it is worth in thousands.

@@debarghyaroy9948 Thousands? Sellers are selling to these shop-owners in high price or shop-owners are demanding high price with high profit margin. Who knows?

I used to live in kolkata until 1996 and most record shops were on Lenin sarani Wellington square area and also on free school Street. What you show now are bigger shops otherwise in our times. The shop sizes were just like that of hole in the wall.

Noticed that every shop keeprs syaing RD & Kishore but you are repeating only RD, is it deliberately ? If so, then you should avoide public platforms! By the way, I love both of them.
