I feel like this is the perfect all-around BT speaker. It's got high quality sound for casual listening, intense bass and loud sound for more party atmospheres, just small enough to be truly portable, great specs. It's just perfect for what it is. A BT speaker cannot get any bigger and more powerful without losing portability and convenience. Like, the PartyBox's are great, but you've got to be crazy if you think you're gonna be lugging those big ass things around. The Boombox is a grab-n-go.

This guy ain't lyin! I've had my BB2 for over a year now. And all I can say is wow. This thing is worth every penny. My buddy even drove over it with his BMW last summer. Picked it up, dusted it off. Works like nothing had even happened to it. This thing's frigin bulletproof! And the sound! I consider myself a bit of an audio file. And it boggles my mind how they get sound so crisp and loud out of this little thing. I'm telling you. You need one of these in your life!

Just got one and it absolutely blows away the JBL Boombox 1 in terms of quality and volume. Everything upgraded in sound quality across the board! I was skeptical at first but comparing them reveals a solid upgrade compared to going from Boombox 1 to Boombox 2. 50% volume and the windows are vibrating. The Boombox 1 has mostly bass but absolutely falls short on treble and mids compared to the Boombox 3, also volume. 100% volume on the Boombox 1 is like the Boombox 3 at about 50%ish. Outdoors at max, still zero distortion on either. The JBL App EQ works great too, test for your own music tastes. Crazy the bass can actually go even higher, damn

Thanks Flossy. Just received my bb3 a couple of days ago and wow! I have a pair of PB110 and a pair of PB310. I gotta say, the lows (bass) on this bb3 is so well defined i feel like this is the go to speaker around the house. I'll leave the other big boys for parties.

Damn that sounds dope! Bass, mids, highs, everything sound super clear. Coming through a mic it's crazy that it sounds that clean and clear.

Flossy I finally got this speaker at Best Buy for 400$ and it’s insanely impressive the bass goes slow and you can actually feel it. 10/10

I’ve had the Boombox 2 and the new JBL Partybox Essential, both sounds awesome, especially indoors. The Partybox Essential isn’t overwhelmingly loud like the boombox, but it does have the bass boost feature which absolutely blows my mind, HOLY F*K, It vibrates my entire bedroom. I always put mine against the wall or in corner, and I sit on the other side of the room. The bass resonates better when you sit farther away from it.

The question is does white shoes still have a 2nd job? 🤔🤔🤔😂😂

One thing to note fellas. The JBL bb3 is not made for high elevation usage. I took my bb3 up to 5000 feet elevation for a family outing and the passive radiators ballooned outwards due to high elevation. Came back home and I had disassemble the subwoofer to release the pressure. All is well afterwards. Besides all of that, it is true what Flossy says, this speaker is worth the $500, I had a good deal on black Friday on another so one more is coming in the mail.

The Boombox models are always the most expensive models and have better audio quality, for example the boombox 3 many say that now it has too much power in the mids, but it is nothing more than that we got used to the fact that JBL always lacked high mids since its sound is in V, but now with its 3 audio channels it is a beauty of sound and separation of instruments, on my channel I have a video where I show the test of the channels separately from the boombox 3, proof that nobody has done so far.

i had both playing head-to-head in my room for 2 days straight, bb2 is an awesome boombox and not far from bb3, but bb3 does sound louder, voices are much clearer, more separation in all the sounds, and has a little more hard-hitting regular bass, sub bass they are both very much alike. I also like the look of bb3, metal handle feels more premium and no giant charging block to carryy around, just a simple cord. bb3 is noticeably heavier. BB2 sound is a little darker, voices are clear but sound laid back, sub bass hits really good on both, BB3 has brighter, louder sound sig, voices more forward. It was a hard choice to choose, but I ended up keeping the bb3.

I like JBL products, even if my JBL $130 BT headphones left side recently RIP after a few years. I have a Go2, Go3, and Charge4, that latter I think is awesome, especially since it still has the mini jack audio I put that the Charge 5 doesn't have. The Charge 4/5 easy sells out fast, especially when someone buys it and their friends snd families hear it, and cone in to sell out the rest, repeatedly. Two friends of mine have the Boombox2, and it's awesome. I was very tempted at buying one, but I don’t need it, and can't crank it where I live, but so tempted to get the Boombox3. The Boombox2 sells out whenever it is in stock at the store I work at, and that is rare that we ever get it in. It's expensive, but worth it, if you like music and good sound and bass, and willing to spend the money. But now, I am tempted to get a Boombox3. There's also a real nice aftermarket carrying bag for the Boombox2 that might fit the Boombox3 that I just saw on the Walmart website. If you already have a Boombox2, and love it, you may not need to, but at the same price, it's a no brainer to get the Boombox3 if you're getting a new one. 808Ninjacat approved. Yes, there are other good ones, but JBL is a longtime pro audio company, and often easier to get because of high production volume, though they sell out fast, including the Party Box. For those that don't know, JBL is part of Harman Kardon, along with AKG that works with Samsung products, Bang & Olufsen, and a whole bunch of other pro audio companies, so the know their audio technology.

That Bike Life sound test took me in a fantasy! I've listened that song for more than 200 times! That is the perfect song for testing bluetooth speakers and headphones which has sub bass, mids and highs! Always use that song in every video Floss! By the way, the Boombox 3 is amazing!

I went to Coney Island beach this year and there is no doubt that the loudest speakers on the beach were the BB2. I couldn't hear my 2 Charge 5s at all. It was quite annoying. Imma pick up this BB3 for beach duty for next year.

i recently bought the bb 3 and mind you i already had the original bb so i played them side by side and i was surprised how unbalanced it was, the bb 3 completely blew bb out the water especially the bass. i had to order another bb 3🤣
