They have an issue where lots of bass will ruin the connection from the speaker wires onto the back of the driver and cause a crackle on high bass songs. One big bad-ass bass-heavy tune and she can be ruined. This is a speaker that advertises itself as having big bass, so the whole "well then don't play songs with big bass too loud then" argument is invalid. People forget with RU-vid comments that you don't have to be an argumentative know-it-all every single time, you can just agree with what someone says for once. The speaker should be able to handle huge bass, it's a major design flaw of the item - Full Stop.
I have the Altec Lansing - "Life Jacket 3" love it! But I was considering purchasing this with my IHG hotel point rewards. I'm debating this Charge 3 vs ION Tailgate Express. Any input?
*UPDATE* I decided to go with the "ION Tailgate Express" I work 10 hour shifts and found I only have to charge every other day. The Plug in Microphone greatly improved pre-work safety meetings(especially when 25 millwrights are attending with nearby loud noises) thumbs up. To ION
You have to find the speaker in your Bluetooth settings and click the gear symbol "⚙️" then you can turn on "Phone Calls" , the microphone works very well.
