Good thing you include at the last part what I was about to comment. About the direction of the speakers. The C5 will definitely sound louder. But yeah, C5 is a better speaker than the P5. P5 owner here. I own the P4 as well and I kinda hate the brighter sound of the P5 but my P4 lacks the punch of the P5. Hopefully P6 in the future will address the issues. Can't wait how will the C6 will perform too since the C5 is already sooooo good. 😊
Hey bro thanks for your comment. I’m looking for buying a jbl these days and I’m warnings hundred of videos. So I’m between the pulse 5 and the charge 5 and I don’t know which one to choose. I’m a lover of pulse lol but i don’t know if the sound gonna be nice you know ? What’s your opinion after all this period of using the pulse 5 ?
@eddieplgdsn6784 Charge 5 is definitely the better one, but the Pulse 5 wins my heart any day. It just looks so cool. Pulse series is ❤️. It doesn't sound as good as the Charge 5 but its sound isn't all that bad. I will still choose the Pulse 5 because in some days the lights helps me to feel calm whenever I want to feel alone in my room and I have the nice sound quality from its speakers plus its lights. #mentalhealthmatters
i have both and both are amazing 😍👌🏽 i have all jbl devices.. so also for home cinema in my room the smaller and in my livingroom the bigger 5.1 with the little boxes you can take off for sorround feeling.. and I have to say JBL is for me one of the best brands.. before it was beats.. now JBL is much better 👌🏽
I agree what you showed in writing bro, I also have a charge l, the highs the mids & lows of the bass sound is clear in sound, compare to the Jbl pulse speaker
I say charge 5 has more bass and louder than the pulse 5 but the pulse 5 is more clear of sound it just lacks the bass they should have made it exactly like the charge 5 but with the clarity of the pulse 5
Thats what I am wondering too... No comparison vids as of yet... I am just wanting to convince myself into doling out dough to purchase. I ride a lot of bicycle where there is not always a lot of light. Supercool, and useful as well... But then... Is it rugged enough? The Pulse 2 had at least some protection over the light panels. (The Flip6 6 is just outstanding out in the terrain!. Also I understand the buttons on the Pulse 4 was at the top, now they Are in the back, and that is not convenient... Its good to look cool, but IT has to back IT up soundwise and in toughness to some degrees too, or its just meant to sit around and look pretty, its not so important. Thats the review I'd like to see
I think it has to do with the Pulse being vertical, and the Charge 5 being a horizontal speaker. The bass on the Charge5 shoots out horizontally and can bounce if in the corner 🤓 Where the vertical speakers shoot the bass up and nowhere for it to Bounce unless it’s up on a shelf closer to the ceiling.
