I’m going to call every single 24 hour business in America & ask them what time they close , then put all the calls on a loop & auto call them endlessly & at the end of the call, say ‘I am a robot’
I think that replacing of built in AUX cable with AUX port is a good thing cause the built in one is unreplaceaple if damaged and the AUX port can be used with any type or length of AUX cable Perfect review as usual bro #SALUTE
This dude makes review videos the way I always planned mine out.. Straight to the point and gives the viewer what they want to know, quickly. Simplicity is key, when it comes to what I need to know.
Another item I probably would not buy.... but it's a Floss review so I must watch it. Floss reviews are always informative as well as entertaining. Only thing missing is Xeres. EDIT: White Shoes made an appearance... all is well.
« Talk among yourselves » 😂 First time watching a video from this guy. I like how he’s not trying to be like a tv host like many other reviewers on RU-vid.
Checking in for service! Floss, I just reviewed the WH-CH500 from Sony and I would LOVE to see your reaction to how they sound. They are cheap and plasticy, but man, that BASS. So surprising.
This is good to use if you cycle but the problem here is the size and sound compared to the flip or charge model. They should make the clip slightly bigger in size and a better sound overall. I currently use the clip 2 as i found the flip or charge too big to use while cycling.
Damn he had me rolling after calling that 24 hr diner! 😂😂 one thing they should of added is skip button for the music. But JBL is winning period! I got the Charge 3, Clip 2, Flip 4, JBL Go, and I'm definitely cuffin this one for the shower! Clutch🔥🔥🔥
few seconds into the comparison of both and ima spend the extra 20 man my old clip 2 dying on me and gets mad distorted was thinking if the clip3 was really all that different but man that crispy sound this clip 3 takes it away thanks for the work you put in bro!
I don't think I've ever been so happy to see white shoes. Glad he decided to make an appearance. 😁 Now on to the speaker. Can you put it on a hook in the restroom and listen to music/ take calls when you're in the shower (of course, I would put the hook away from the water)? If not, what do people use this speaker for? Thanks for another great review.
@flossycarter wanted to wish you a happy birthday and many more much luv keep up the good work many blessings coming to you and your fam ! Enjoy your weekend .
I just bought the clip 3 after the clip itself came off of my clip 2 speaker.. Because it's silicone mount is only glued, if you go trekking with it nature can quickly ruin it.. The best thing about the 3 version compared to 2, is that the clip is part of the speaker's skeleton, IMO
Thanks for the review Floss! I saw this on the shelf in the Blue color and was thinking about rocking it on my pack this summer. I didn't purchase on the spot thought because I knew I could come search the Floss's channel and get a review before purchase.....THANKS!
Flossy Carter got it! Going to work well hanging on my Go Pro Seeker for some summer fun. I must say too, the blue version is a really cool color. Thanks again for all the cool reviews and tips Floss!
The thing about the built-in 3.5mm cable on the Clip 2 that would worry me is that if it gets damaged then the speaker is useless (if you are old school and use a mp3 player, that is). I think having the 3.5mm port on the Clip 3 is more practical as a male-male 3.5mm cable to connect the speaker to whatever is pretty cheap these days. As far as sound, they were pretty even. I'd go with the Clip 3. Thanks for the review, Flossy.
I'd say if someone wanted to buy a new (first or not) bluetooth speaker, they could choose either, depending on what they prefer. I found JBL Clip years ago and I purposedly was going for one with a jack cable. Might sound odd nowadays but it's also good to use with older audio devices (plus adapter if needed). I have a Clip 2 now.
Personally if I was looking for the pocket size and great sound quality (regardless of the price, even if it was same price as the Clip 3) I'd go with the Go 2. Imho it has a slightly more enjoyable sound than the Clip 3, plus I think it's way more catchier design-wise.
Great review and I always like it when White Shoes shows up! I guess that's because I have a cat as well. I was pretty impressed with the Clip 3 and I have a question about the first song that you used to play through the clip 3. What was the title of that song? Pretty cool! Anyway excellent review as always and keep them coming!
Wuz good Floss?? I just ran up on you page looking for reviews on the Braven XXL & found myself watching about 20 of your vids back to back & several days later & have subscribed, good stuff my dude.. I was wondering if you could do another top 5 w/honorable mention sometime in the near future?? Most of what you have listed here is not available, discontinued, etc.. I see the vid is pretty old so I just wanted to get your opinion on any hott speakers out there before I purchased.. I'm leaning towards the Braven XXL as my go-to outside speaker because I want to keep my purchase under $350 & I also have my eye on the Oontz 3XL as my travel speaker for hotels during out of town trips & ish, but I'd feel way more comfortable purchasing after hearing your enthusiasm of what"s out there right now.. Hopefully you'll consider big homie & keep sending those fire vids, peace!! #salute
The loss of the cord rubbed me the wrong way too but they probably figured it was something that was being phased out and who would choose that over bluetooth anyway. Unless you have an old ipod classic or something there's hardly a need for a cable anymore.
You left out that it has Bluetooth 4.1 which is better for reducing latency. Suh as listening to videos and what not. Another great point for the jbl clip 3.
“Little unboxing knife”, proceeds to unsheathe a “machete “. My boy Flossy. Your reviews are the shit. Not only for the entertaining value but you are spot on when it comes to the tech aspect of the product. Now Imma about to call that 24 hour dinner to check what time they close. Shoutout from a subscriber.
In my very humble opinion unless a speaker is notably better than the one you are thinking of replacing I don't see paying 50% more money for something that is only marginally better..$60 clip 3 vs $40 clip 2 is $20 difference that's 50% of the cost of the clip 2 for only marginally better sound and unless you have the 2 speakers side by side most people won't be able to tell the difference anyway and you also loose 3.5 mm aux cable so if you want to use it this way you would need to use your own aux cable not a big deal but just something extra to remember to bring just in case so I personally don't think its worth the extra cash. 😎
