Great review! I have Jabra and the thing that drives me crazy is the only right ear can be used alone. I don't want one ear to take all the abuse I would like to switch ears. I may try JBL
Yeah! Your are Right. I bought the Jabra 85t, and the JBL Club Pro Earbuds at Best Buy Store the same day, about a month ago. I tried them both out, and I immediately kept the JBL Club Pro Earbuds, and I returned the Jabra 85t Earbuds for refund. I did not like the Music sound quality of the Jabra 85t Earbuds. I think "JBL Club Pros" are just excellent when it comes to Music listening.
@@vdoestech Yo should I get the jbl club pros rn ? Looking for a good truly wireless headset for working out, comfort and sound quality or is there any others you recommend currently lmk.
Jbl needs a little adjustment depending on the type of music you're listening to. But if it's sound quality you're looking for and you like playing around to nail your music, they're definitely worth the money.
Thanks for a comprehensive comparison. I have the Elite Active 75T's, bought the 85T's but returned them. The 75T's are smaller, fit better and IMO sound much better. I found the differences in ANC and Hear through negligible and not worth the price hike. I picked up the 75T's with wireless charging at Costco for $149. I'm thinking you would dig them.
So glad I came across your comment. I was thinking of ditching my Jabra 75Ts for the 85Ts. Reading your comment gave me second thoughts. I'm someone who uses earbuds for music and music alone. How do those two compare? You've had them both so you're the best person to ask! Help a friend out! Haha.
@@varuna6089 I found the sound to be better with the 75T's. That "open fit" thing and oval earpiece they were trying to do on the 85 hurt the sound. Consider this, if it was such a great innovation why did they ditch it on their new series they just released. Stick with 75T's.
@@g19seattle38 Thanks so much for your response. I'm not sure if they entirely ditched it considering that the new Elite 3 and Elite 7 also look oval to me (from what I've seen in the reviews). I think I'm just concerned about the fact that the Bluetooth version of the 75T might go obsolete soon and it won't work anymore (considering how fast technology is progressing). But on the other hand the 75Ts use Bluetooth 5.0 which is only 2 years old. So, it might be just an irrational concern on my part.
@@varuna6089 From the Verge review... "But the Elite 3s feel very familiar once seated in your ears; thankfully, they use round ear tips instead of the oval-shaped tips that came with the 85t buds, which never fit as snugly as I would’ve liked." And Bluetooth 5xx is backwards compatible... In other words you can use a set of Bluetooth 3.0 earbuds on your new device if you wanted.
I never tried the Jabra's 85ts, BUT the JBL are the TRUTH!! For bass heads JBL is the Mike Tysons of wireless in ear bud sets. That eq is the best I've ever heard.
If you haven't had the 75t yet, I'd highly recommend them. Especially considering the price. Better fit and sound. Harder hitting bass than the 85t. The "other" features are better on 85t, but music is great with 75t
The fact that Jabra won't work individually is a deal breaker for me as I wear one at a time all day switching between the two - doubles battery time. Good ambient sound is a must . I only wear both when listening to music. On the phone a lot some phone qualitsound is important. Seldom use ANC but is nice to have. Jabra loses lots of sales because the won't work individually.
I will say the Jabra Elite 75T does have excellent sound and the battery power is great. So if they are comfortable enough in the right ear a long time you might be alright with the Jabra.
Same here (hear) 😄 BUT. I think JBL dont have a real NC When i put NC ON.... the sound and base getting better. Its letting sound in like any other plugs. I think its just turn the mic off. So it sound better but nooo NC
I gotta grab the jbl for work to be able to swap back and forth left or the right...jabra gotta get that together with their mono setup 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Hi! Can you help me choose between jabra elite 7 active, jbl reflect flow pro and jbl under armour flash x? Or at least something you tested from these...an opinion for daily use and gym . Please help me 🥺, it s so hard to choose
Sorry, I've only tried the JBL Reflect Minis. If the Pros are anything like those you can't go wrong. So many good choices but thats a problem also lol
I understand. Thank you. I have another question. I read a lot of comments and watch every possible video on JBL reflect mini an reflect pro. Some people says that after 3 months problems start. It is true? Like slightly down volume in right earbud or disconfort after 1 hour of use. Did you encounter something like this in your experience with jbl?
If u like club pros bro your like the new jbl reflect mini w anc and app even more I promise. The nc is better and the sound is better w deeper bass lol its crazy
@@vdoestech I feel it. Tho the 150 dollars is worth every penny to be honest with you I'd pay what I paid for my sennheiser momentum 2s at that was 300 at the time str8 up. They are that good bro. Imma put up a small video in my account to show everyone I have over 70 earbuds in my collection and trust me when I tell you that these damn things are the best outta them all.
Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro OnePlus Buds Pro Jabra active elite 75t Jabra active 85t Huawei FreeBuds Pro Huawei FreeBuds 4 Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Tronsmart Apollo Bold Which one has the best sound quality? And if you had to choose one, which would it be?
I will never ever buy Jabra cause of their customer policy. My 75t Active is broken and all they were able to recommend was "If you seek an in-warranty product replacement, kindly note that these services have been suspended until further notice following GN Audio policy" Just "great" service from Jabra
I don't recommend JBL for these reasons: 1- you can only connect to one device at a time. 2- you move too much, even chewing too much, the buds fall off. 3- videos with decent audio quality will have significant out of sync issues. However, the quality of the box is simply amazing. The sound quality is acceptable, but not super. This is probably why the price of this version is now 69 euros, which is what I paid for.
@@voice5sur5 yes, but the quality becomes terrible. However, the fit/comfort issue is still a major problem. I bought sony wf-1000xm4, the sound quality is jaw dropping, unfortunately they have fit/comfort issue too, but far better than these jbl.
@@voice5sur5 set the buds on video mode from the app, the sound quality go down, but the sync issue disappears. But the fit & comfort should be OK since playing games is indoors and you don't move your head too much. if you are in Europe, try buying the buds directly from JBL site, they seem a bit cheaper. The sound quality of Sony is far better, but they are very expensive & also uncomfortable after one hour of use. these are as others say subjective. maybe your ears are different.
ALL EAR BUD REVIEWS SHOULD COVER; (I appreciate Reviewers) 1. Fit, size & comfort. Is there tips available or other means to enhance fit & comfort. 2. Music, Voice & Media quality. 3. Do they work independently? (very important to extended wearing time. Extends battery time & allows resting ears). Does functions work on either bud if worn independently, such as ambient sound? Example; It does not on JBL Reflect Mini NC buds (bad flaw). 4. Ambient sound & ANC - quality and functions. AMBIENT SOUND is of most importance. No one wants the feeling of cotton in one or both ears & should have Ambient Sound that allows normal hearing or better if one can select enhanced Ambient Sound - More important than ANC. 5. App availability and functions. What are options for personal settings? 6. Battery time for buds & case 7. Is Wireless charging available?
