Designed as a companion to JBL's LSR active studio monitor series, the LSR310S powered subwoofer takes the low-end load off of your nearfields. A 10″ down-firing driver delivers tight and focused ball, so you get truly balanced 3-way sound. Onboard the LSR310S, you'll find a selectable crossover that sports JBL's XLF Extended Low Frequency Setting, giving you plenty of flexibility to get the low-end contour you need.

Already using the fantastic LSR305 pair and they're excellent! Was waiting for a sub. Might grab this one soon.

+zeebazu Did you get the sub? Does the speakers for normal music listening at PC have enough bass?

ZiK unfortunately no mate. I switched my secondary monitors to a KH120 pair ever since. the 305s are now my listening pair in the living room, without sub. I have read reviews and people are saying the sub is not living up to the standard of the speakers themselves. They say it seems underpowered. I don't know how accurate that statement is as I haven't heard one myself. the speaker themselves though, if you haven't bought already, are excellent. cheers.

Hello! When I turn on my JBL LSR310s subwoofer, the subwoofer has a white LED but then starts to have a blinking white LED and does not produce bass sounds. What are there for me to do? Is the unit broken? Thank you!

Designed to pair with the 3 series, but how well would it pair with a pair of 104s if it sits under the desk and they on top?

Hey guys! I have this sub woofer and it’s been getting me noise complaints from the downstairs residents. Is it okay if I flip this bad boy on its side so the sound travels in my direction rather then downwards towards my neighbors? Will that damage the sub? Please let me know if this is okay! I love this sub and don’t want to damage it !

You won't damage it but it's probably not going to help with the noise complaints much lol

Low frequencies out of a cone this size are omnidirectional, so changing the directionality of the cone won’t affect where it emanates

Hello, user-su5wi8rv4x! Yes definitely! As long as your AVR has an un-powered output to connect to it. The cable would depend on the outputs of your AVR. The sub will accept XLR or TRS. That surround ain't THAT big. I've seen bigger surrounds on 10 inch woofers before. Some high end car audio 10 inch subs have almost 4 inches of peak to peak travel. If JBL put a bigger surround on this thing I'd be more impressed.

Surrounds aren't everything. The car audio subs aren't any good for monitoring. Which is what these are for. There's a very good reason why all car subs have huge surrounds. Even the cheap ones. They're going for big sound. Not accuracy. Bigger =/= Better.

XLF the special setting.... it enables "1999 SONY SUPER BASS YO! DNCE DNCE DNCE BOOM BASSSSSSS MODE". LOL wtf. If any actual production pro can't simulate that himself, he shouldn't be in the business. Just leave these silly modes out and make flat equipment that does the job. We'll hit the super bass button on our boom box if we need to digitally. Thanks fellas.
