could I use my bass guitar in the guitar port? I know that using a bass guitar with a guitar amp (not a bass guitar amp) that it can destroy the amp. will this happen with the 110?
As an audiophile at heart this is my honest review. I got the 110 after watching this video and was impressed with the sound quality of it. It excelled at reproducing highs and mids with unbelievable quality at any volume. It however tries it's best to get deep bass notes in there as well but although it does a good job, it was missing that depth I crave and had more of a midbass. I decided to plug it into a Klipsch 10" powered sub that I received as a gift and WOW!!!! No need for more. I now have both awesome highs and mids and deep bass to go with it at any volume. Anything past 50% volume and my house sounds like a high end night club. I would recommend any real audiophile that wants big sound with a small footprint to consider this combination
I plan on using it in a 2 door pickup. It will serve as the armrest I've never had and replace the AM/FM radio and blown door speakers. One bench seat, me, and my tunes against the world 😂
I mean the 110 has more like a deeper "boomier" bass than 100 and the 100 in bass boost 1 just hits you harder, like a punch. If thats more your thing with bass id recommend the 100. But the 110’s mids and highs sound clearer to me so its up to you🤷🏻♂️

I just bought the 110. I feel like the bass boost feature sounds better when it’s turned off. When it’s turned on it shakes the room! Definitely a great speaker!
Hello. There is an input jack for microphone, and an input jack for an instrument. You could plug a mic into the instrument port, but it won’t sound as good. Both input ports have a gain knob above them so you can adjust your volume.
i watched some comparisons of the 2 and the bass on the 110 definitely a step back compared to the 100.. it sounds too boomy, 100 sounds cleaner for me and more balanced overall
@@johnbuffey This is not true. The bass becomes boomy only in the second bass boost mode. It is only suitable for the street. Do not confuse the concepts of "boomy" and "deep". The first bass boost mode makes the low frequencies of the 110 so rich and deep that not every 2.1 type system can do! I think the PartyBox 110 is very underrated. It sounds more correct than 100, it is better, it has protection against water. The middle can be raised with the equalizer. That's all I wanted to say
Great video. Jbl have made it really hard for me to decide. The 310 and 110 are sick. But the 1000 is other worldly. I love that with the 110 or 310 I can just throw it in my car and listen to music as I drive. Who knows. Maybe I will get both.
Today I decided to go with 100 because it's cost me ₹23500 ($280)on the other and 110 ₹31000($392). and I did not feel the difference between both of them justify ₹7500 ($95)

After i bought partybox 110 i wanted to test it out in a car and when i was with my mother i took it with me and played a couple of songs.. after some tests we figured out that it was perfect for a subwoofer/speaker for a small/medium sized car.. and my mother said that it tickled in her ear when the bass boost came on when we tested it with a song with a deep bass
Just got my JLB 110 unboxed (199e from black friday sale), and I'm very pleased with it after trying it out for an hour or so. I had the OG JBL Extreme speaker before and this is a huge (nearly overkill) upgrade for my apartment. ALSO there was a software update for the speaker through the JBL app, that now allows you to adjust the bass, mid and treble. I only wish the app would work on windows desktop as well as phone/tablet.
12:20 totally agree, I have a bunch of partyboost speakers and it feels like such a waste to not be able to pair them up with anything else and i'm stuck using the same old speakers without the option to upgrade. JBL is a huge failure in this aspect.
Well, I am late on this post I just gotten. My first JBL product PartyBox 110 I was wanting alittle more bigger and more bass but I can not complain. I am very happy with my partybox110 it does what I need just got it today. Was a gift from a buddy so I can’t complain at all oh let me add the sound the bass it does thump out I am very impressed at volume 40 or 50 it sure thumps and I don’t even have my bass boost on and don’t let me forget the lights so I’m in love with them of the fact they do that. I only got this given to me due to my Altec Lansing towers that had died so I got this to replace them.
I got partybox 100 for more then 3 i make so much party's is all scratched on the side but still is smashing everything but i love this partybox 110 i think i have paring mode
Iv had the partybox 100 for multiple years now I let it get rained on. I let it get snowed on. It falls off the roof of my expedition sometimes and it just keeps on going.
@@justaguyfromreddit I did a little testing and figured out the speakers strongest bass points! 3. 88-85 hz 2. 68-64hz 1. 50-44 hz During those tests the bass hits BEST at 44 IMO
You can turn off the lights, with bass boost off and lights off, playing at 100%volume you will get 5 hours of continuous loud music, after if notifies you that the batery is running low it will continue to give you 1 more hour at like 10-15 % volume total of 6 decent for how loud it is I wish they would come with replaceable batteries
Los podes conectar por Bluetooth únicamente usando el método de Samsung Dual Audio, y para eso necesitas un celular que tenga habilitada esa función (por ejemplo un Galaxy S10), las tablets de Samsung a partir de la S6 también traen esa opción. Otra alternativa sería conectar ambos por cable AUX y conectarte al que le este dando sonido al otro, para eso debes fijarte cual va en AUX IN y AUX OUT. Y por último si no estas con ganas de hacer nada de esto comprate los que sí son compatibles entre sí y que puedan hacer TWS. Por ejemplo: 100+100, 110+110, 110+310, 110+710, 310+310, etc.
Cuz that means people are gonna turn the bass to max and blow the speakers and the company will have to replace them and loose money🙃 so I understand the decision to 100%. But you can change the eq on spotify if you want to.
The review was wonderful, truthful. I own two 100s and think they are great. I wish the mics would syn with 2 speakers. You will need two mics if you're running 2 party boxes.
Ive had mine for a while. It does get scrathed if your not carefull. But it can take a hit or two thankfully. It sounds great! Thanks for reccomending it to me!
I mean.. I think Volume is the only difference really and battery life... think about your needs my friend. Do you Need a speaker that's louder and lasts longer? If you don't, if the 110 will suit your needs then save the extra money and get the 110 :) I'm kind of in the same boat myself. I have a 710 (which is SICK) but I want a smaller one for in the house and I'm thinking 110 or 310.. right now I only have 350 to spend.. and the 110 is on-sale for 300... might need to pull the trigger soon. My situation is more financial but like I said... think about what you Need.. then make the choice based on that :)

Got the 110 today, sounds great! But is it just me or does bassboost level 2 sound really weird? The sound changes very much in comparison to bassboost level 1 & bassboost off. Are there more people having this?
Question for anyone who has the 110... The volume and light buttons: should the illuminate? The blootooth and power buttons are lit up but not the volume and light buttons? Seems odd, better if it was the other way around surely? Can't see a thing when it's dark!
This is a loaded question, but perhaps you can help me? I have an Alto Spectrum Pro speaker that I use in performance (guitar-vocal) Alto is still in business, but they stopped production of this model. It has wireless capabilities for synching to another Alto. Would this JBL be able to do the same? Substitute for an Alto? Thanks!
are you sure about those battery numbers??? 12 hours at 20% vol with boost and lights off, but a full 8 hours at 65% with boost and lights on? sounds sus, id be surprised if 65% vol gave 5-6 hours if its doing 12 hours at 20%.
I know it sounds sus, but I've been working out with this speaker at 65% all week. Got through 4 2 hour workouts. But overall these battery lives really vary
Hi. You said that you can use 2 microphones for karaoke. Are you talking about mic 1/4 and guitar 1/4 ports? So its possible to use them both? Have you tested it?
Hi, need some help here. My partybox 110 after firmware update keeps on turning on by itself after a duration of time. Any idea how to fix it? I already tried resetting it but still the same.
My PB100 sounds like 110 when I use it on Fiio E10k with bass boost switch on, sounds great on most songs but in others, bassline becomes too overwhelming.
If you forget to charge these and the batter is completely dead is it possible to run the speakers on drop cord or wall power or will the speaker pull more power than supplied?

Look up fluffs he comments that the 110 has more bass but due to the treble and mids being push way more it sounds like the 100 has more bass, but is not the case.
actually i believe Oluv complained that Bass Boost Level 1 was tuned higher on the 110 (around 80hz) compared to 50-60hz on the 100...but bass sounded identical with boost off. doesn't bother me, i use the Neutron app...parametric EQ up the wazoo!
how is the 110 comparable to the onyx studio 7? because I have the onyx but I'm trying to exchange and it's out of stock. I need loud so I'm trying to figure out what to get . PLEASE HELP
