hey my big brother from another mother, thank you for the very first review on the JBL Plus 4, I been thinking to have one,, so thank you once again for saving my money.
Sound-wise to me the Pulse 4 definitely has a boomier bass, but overall it sounded 'muddier' than the Pulse 4. The Pulse 4 maybe had less bass but definitely might be easier to listen to if you're into critical listening. Of course, if you're into bass type music then Puls 3 all the way.
It all started when you sold me on the Samsung Epic 4G Touch with that huge 4.5 inch display. Been here a min. In fact, I went back and watched that video again just the other day. Both you and tech have come a long way. Keep up the good vibes.
Okay, I dig it. I'm still rockin the pulse 2, but my heavy hitter is my JBL Extreme. Wish the app worked, but that's something JBL needs to get on point with. Thank you for the review, and some bad ass tracks to listen to at the same time.
I want to go back to the 1920's and show this to someone. And then see the disappointment in their astonished face when i tell them it's just a lamp for visualising sound, not actually a warp core that enables hyperdrive to distant star systems. Hahahaha

Im just sitting here in awe at how good you recorded thie audio, this sounds great how is this even real, the JBL just THAT good or your microphone? I say both.
Vaguely same notes, completely different melody.. The only thing that sounds similar is the synth used for the piano. Ya'll don't know shit about music.

Shiny light up party noise things... I bought the Braven Stryde 360 after seeing that review, and now I want something with a light show as well. As a person who works with lighting instruments the LEDs on this unit are really smooth, not pixelated like some other ones I've seen.
I recently bought the Pulse 3 and ordered the white one half an hour ago. It was interesting to see the comparison and I'm glad I didn't make a regretful decision staying old gen. Now Floss I have to tell you that the mesh on the Pulse 3 is actually backed by 3 drivers and that's probably why you heard more 3 than 4.

@@guidoperez1226 super high quality sound. Youll love it. LEDs are just as good as the pulse. Not a huge difference at all. The sound is way better, the best speaker I've ever owned
not an upgrade in my opinion , why the hell do they take things out from the new ones like , the wall adapter and the aux in ridiculous the same with the charge 4 !!!
The penny has dropped for me. These are the modern day version of Lava Lamps - but so much better! The Pulse4 looks way cooler than the Pulse 3 - I’d love to have one of these. 👍

@@nicabc Well you can't with this design. But the advantage being a company that sell speakers they make is to make the design however you want. Look at the Pulse 3, it have 3 speakers and two passive radiators.
