Did you run any stress tests on these? I believe the JBL's are rated @ 800 wats RMS with very flat frequency response between 70Hz and 20KHz. I forget the efficiency rating. Dollars to doughnuts these drivers don't hold up for very long running program music full blast (unity gain @ 1800 watts). I remember I used to push my SRX712m's so hard you could smell them...but they never failed. I routinely ran 1800 watts/speaker for rock bands. They were awesome speakers.
