These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ru-vid.comUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I own AirPods and I’m planning to buy the JBL Pro 2. You made me decide. Thank you! Your review is very detailed and clear! You’re the best! Keep the good job up!
Phone calls outdoors, the JBL won that in a walk IMHO. I like the controls on the case feature but for me, the cost of entry isn't justified. I'll get back to these in about 9 months or so. The price might make more sense by then. Thanks for the review.
I just wonder why nobody ever talks about how the AirPods constantly disconnect randomly, and how they almost never want to connect when you try to pull them from the case and put them in your ear they always stuck in the loop somehow it happens with almost every pair of AirPods, I’ve owned, and it started right around the time that Apple upgraded toiOS 16, and nobody ever talks about that and everybody I know experiences this

Thank you, but can I use the JBL headphones with only one side, right or left, and control the properties, or is there only one main side? Since I own an old version of JBL + Sony, and they only have one main side
Hell no that JBL sound is the same with air pods pro 2 , even by default stock without touching any settings the sound is way better. The only thing air pods is better is the AnC and the battery life other than that JBL is way superior than air pod pro 2.
I had airpods pro in three year and was sick tired of the 4H maximum time before charging.. I was afraid in the beginning because of I hate android stuff and loves only iphones but 3 months later: JBL tour pro saved my life! Sick sound Sick battery time ( 10H ) And the display are just wonderful❤
Although the JBLs case is cool looking I'd much rather have access to all of the options. With the Airpods it's much more personal. Apple is the greediest company on the face of the earth and for that reason alone they'll never get a dime of my money. Especially for charging $250 for a $100 set of earbuds.
hi, which device has the best sound quality? Apple Airpods Pro 2 Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 Sony Linkbuds S Sony WF-1000XM4 Jabra Elite 7 Pro Jabra 85t Klipsch T5 II Bose Quietcomfort II Beats Studio Buds Beats Fit Pro Oneplus Buds Pro 2 Kef Mu3 Jbl Live Pro 2 Jbl Reflect Flow Pro Jbl Tour Pro 2 Bowers Wilkins Pi7 S2
I have the AirPods, they do work well. But now one of the pods do not work, so I’m going to try the JBL buds. I do like their products, the sound bar that I have sounds good, speaks, and an old set of buds.
Excellent review: short, sharp and qualified comments, no bullshit, no blabla. Helped me a lot to decide whether I should buy the JBL as a 2nd device to my current AirPods Pro.
After trying out the tune flex for a month and then comparing them to the 3rd gen AirPods, I feel like there’s a lot that JBL could do to kill off AirPods for most ppl. Which would be the control options. Cuz I’d rather they the AirPods Pro over the tours or whatever. Cuz while realizing the benefits of the case screen, the AirPods controls are just feel better. But that could be because I’m an iPhone/MacBook user. Like the stems on the JBL’s is dumb. And accidental taps when trying to just remove or put in the earphones is also rlly annoying. So if they would fix that, and actually focused more on control customizations - they would absolutely kill off AirPods. Literally the Tune Flex model would be deadly to the AirPods. But yeah I think imma upgrade to the AirPods pro to test since it would be cheaper than the tour pro anyways.
For me I got the JBL because I wanted full control with the case over just squeezing it it’s really useful in the gym it just like smart watch 👌 and JBL over nice voice quality and noise cancellation
Great review as always but to me AirPods Pro remains a better deal because of its overall package and considering I’m an iOS user too, i will love to see u review the Bangs & Olufsen EX and the Master & Dynamic MW08… I think there sound quality are second to none
I always say to my friends/siblings. Go for the airpods if you're an iPhone user and as for android, there is tons of options. I'm an android user and My recommendation is the huawei Freebuds Pro 2, Oneplus Buds Pro 2, Soundcore Liberty 3 pro. I own the 3 earbuds I listed and they definately are my personal best choice. I also read somewhere online that a few earbuds have features that are not compatible with iPhone's. And also Most earbuds negative reviews are from iPhone users, hence why The airpods are the best choice for the iPhone.
I have both I’m an apple die hard user, I like the jbl because of the charging case features, and the color way the tour pro, it’s champagne. No more just white ear buds. It’s different. The eq from phone to case is fun to personalize, better sound because it’s your personal preference. My apple AirPod seems to die sooner than specs says. Updating os on the jbl tour pro 2 drained the battery quickly. Both are great. I like the jbl case because I can add my own wallpaper to the screen of the tour pro 2.
Jbl is good when connecting to android phones or iphones but when connecting to comouter via bluetooth forget it the out come sound is abysmal worst of the worst
Like always, another 🔥 comparison 💪💯 The range of the last few JBL releases using their EQ within the app is really impressive in my opinion. You can get whatever sound you want if you know what you’re doing. As well, there’s nothing like JBL bass neither. Of course this is all just my personal opinion
9:00 I used to live in the building behind while attending UMKC pharmacy school. I miss the Plaza. A lot of good memories there. Too bad I had to move out of state 😢
👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽 The problem with the JBL Tour Pro 2 isn't even the competition, but the JBL Live Pro 2, which is almost the same at all levels and costs $150-$170 less 🤷🏽♂️ The way JBL manages the microphones in phone calls (a bit like Earfun) is the most interesting, wanting to mask all ambient noise too much, the Airpods Pro 2 and many other earbuds are not really suitable for phone calls in noisy environments.
Thanks for the review. Could you answer this question please. Are you able to turn off the ANC completely on the JBL tour pro 2's? I dont mean shift over into transparency, but actually ANC off completely. When ive had the Bose QC 2 earbuds i found that you couldn't turn off the ANC instead you go into transparency mode and there would white noise watching movies in a quiet place. Is there white noise with these when the ANC is off? Thanks so much 😊
Apple version is junk. Noise cancellation does not work well enough in a noisy environment, pretty much useless. Audio quality is nowhere near as good as JBL’s. The only good thing about the apple pods are, the noise cancellation is really good, but that alone is not worth purchasing again. I mostly use my JBL’s.
