To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ru-vid.comUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

JBL has always been king of sound quality and this don’t seems to be any different.

I just bought these earbuds because they were almost half price in Media Mark (Netherlands). Went from 120 euros to 60. I'm very impressed, a bit disapointed with the battery life, but unless I go on a long trip, these should be good for me.

Just bought these and was impressed by the quality of the sound and that's all. The user manual is not worth the paper it's printed on. It says when charged the leds don't shine on the ear pod case but I get 2 leds shining even when I've charged all night! The manual shows me how to increase the volume by holding the button for 2 seconds on the left (to lower sound) and 2 seconds on the right bud (to increase the sound) This function does not work at all. The left ear bud does not skip to the next number when you click once instead it just pauses the number playing, this is what the right ear bud does also. I bought these without reading the reviews, big mistake as there are so many bad reviews. I'm going to ask for my money back. Worthless product.

Dont buy it.u cant use single earbuds and other keep in charging. if u buy other brand like huawei u can use single earbuds and keep 2nd one in charging.

very disappointed with JBL this time , after just about 2 month the case battery started draining out in couple of hours .Thanks to Harman's prompt service , they give me replacement, a band new JBL 220. But again after 2 months left earbud started draining charge in mere minutes .

I got these for free.. They are not that good for the $100 price. The Spirit Dot 2 are way better or Sabbat E12 Ultra for 80$. Best buds Jabra Active 75t.. Haven't tried 85t yet

Do not buy this shit. The earbuds on 220 are not independent. Right one is master (connects to phone, and the Left connects to the Right). I usually I want to use only a single ear. So this works only with the right one. If I want to use just the Left, I have to take also the Right out of the case (because it f... disconnects from bluetooth when it is charging... what a p.o.s for logic). So you are actually using only the left, but both of them spend their power. If you like JBL, just go to the 225 model.

Dont buy it because it overheats in 3 minutes under summer sun... and wont be able to play anything witout constant breaks every half sec... basically useless.. Please love this comment so others can see

So bad dont worth the money! Always fall of ur ears, cant run with them! and the HUGE problem one of the earbud always disconnect its painful and the battary so weak, go for jabra 75 or galaxy buds 2 so much better !!!

Avoid these earbuds! Sound quality is pretty poor and battery in left one lasts for about 15mins after 6 months of ownership. JBL supposed to be a good brand, this is very disappointing!
