Do you know how to take out the main board? I’ve managed to take everything out except for the board which I have to clean since it has corrosion on it and I’m hoping that the clean will fix the issues I’m having with it
@@mygiguser i have made a fix idk how long it will last its a tie wrap with 2 holes made with a very hot screwdriver and it fits perfect but yea idk if it lasts long
My brother lent me his jblxtreme and the battery went bad in my hands, I feel really bad and I want to fix it, I’m more than capable of doing so now thanks to you but I’d still want some info on replacing the battery, do i need to tear it down fully like shown to access the battery or is it as simple as taking off the battery cover and replacing it that way? And do you have any good battery recommendations that would work for the speaker?
AleKs_A no, you don’t need to take it apart completely. If you want to make it fast, you probably find an original battery on eBay. No special preference what brand of batteries to use. The higher the Ah the longer they last?
The pressure created by the woofers in the front moves the passive radiators on the sides, that’s how basically all JBL speakers work singe the charge 2nd gen, XTREME 1st gen, flip 3rd gen, go 2nd gen and the original boombox. It’s an easy way to get extra bass without sacrificing the speaker’s waterproofing and also it can help reduce the pressure inside the speaker that may get a little extreme if you use a large fully enclosed casing without passive radiators
Good but not complete! I got big issues with the TRIP-KEY-BOARD (under the Control Buttons) My Board get wet and the conductors C900 and C901 corroded away. Find no exact value, to order new ones😣 propably someone got a working board and tell me the values?
@@mygiguser yes this board. 6 Switches, 6 LEDs, 6Resistors, and 2 defect conductors, called C900 and C901 on this simple PCB. Defect ductors affect non working buttons and selfstarting Xtreme. I am very happy if you can measure the value from this two conductors, everything else on my board should be okay. Check the Buttons and all working perfectly. Thanks
Hello, i have a problem with my JBL Xtreme. When i try to turn it on it doesn't do anything even when plugged in to the charger. No buttons and no lights, absolutely nothing. I alreasy checked the charger, charger is fine, with a good voltage of 19.53V and i tested the on/off button on my other working JBL Xtreme and its totally OK. The button(s) work. But as soon as i plug it into the official main board: no response at nothing. I also checked the battery. Battery is also fine. I think the problem lies in the main board, but could you tell me what it could be? Thanks!! :)
@@fuehwbdb3765 yeahh, sadly i didn't found a fix to this, you can replace the main board or just buy another one (used) to repair or for main use... i'm sorry i couldn't help u mate
