Its actually comforting to know that jbl has finally switched to 18650 battery cells , swollen li poly usually breaks the housing , happened on my flip 3

Does anyone know if the passive radiators are the equal on the inside? The right one of mine is broken and that part is expensivier than the left one, and if it would be only for the "JBL" drawing i'd love to save that money. Thanks for the attention. (Great video btw

hi, do you have any idea what that airtight tape or gum they use is called? i have an air leak near my battery cover and idk how to fix it, i dont want to put glue there it might ruin the seal completely

why passive radiators need wires??

I was looking for a video like this one. My extreme2 on one side the speakers kick on and off. The other side plays fine.

I JUST GOT THE EXTREME 2. I'M AN AUDIO FILE, MUSIC PRODUCER, ENGINEER, DJ ETC!! I LOVE THIS LITTLE SPEAKER.. it's so awesome how easy it is to replace things in this I used to have the big jambox but that was hard to replace things.. Replacing the battery and the speakers on the extreme 2 is super easy!! And it looks like if you take it apart and put it back together it will still be waterproof because all the gaskets are based on pressure not glue!! FANTASTIC MY OPINION THE BEST YOU CAN GET FOR THE MONEY!! I bought mine refurbished because I know about these factories.. refurbished is just as good as new... What people freak out when they hearlike it has to be brand new. But when something is refurbished they really have to make sure everything is perfect before it goes out.. ;) EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!

Whats the real battery capacity? JBL claims its 10.000 mAh, on the videos from dissasembly i can see around 5.000 mAh.

Help I just got an xtreme 2 but on bass it makes a quiet rattling sound and if I put my ear to it seems it’s coming from the right woofer, what could it be?

Great vid, thx :) I have an Xtreme 2 which doesn't have the battery charging, no bluetooth, no JBL connect, no volume up/down or no Power button working. It only gets power if you plug it in, and then you can play via the 3,5 mm cable only. What can be the cause here? Can a faulty battery cause all this?

Looked up those cells they are 2600mAh cells 10Amp output cells, at least they have a chance of lasting a longer than the packs they used in the Xtreme 1, not all blame can be put on the batteries, as the BMS board doesn't do a good job of current protection for the batteries, in my testing the wattage that enters those cells is too much for them, that is what causes the original batteries to fail after a year of use,

If the JBL does not turn on, and the switch button is OK, do this !Plug the JBL into the charger, then press the + and Connection (not the bluetooth) buttons at the same time until it turns on.10 seconds or so.

I’ve been hearing that this jbl extreme 2 is a great speaker 🔈, but when unplugged from the E- wall outlet, it loses bass power. Is there a fix for that, is there a bigger battery 🔋 for this speaker 🔊 device.

In mine 1:23 these plastics are broken!! How I can order new plastics!!

great video, thank you. finally those stupid corrupt jbl pricks put a proper battery in the new speaker. the one they put in the jbl xtreme is garbage. when it failed, i got a replacement, only to discover the same issue. way to build brand loyalty. unbelievable.

not speakers on the sides. they are just there to amplify bass. they are not connected to any wires nor do they have any magnets. jbl is a lie 😡🤣
