Bro you not only like every comment but actually reply in a human way not just "lol" or "thanks" it's so cool it makes us feel like a community bro u earned my sub
Aye thank you so much for that bud. Haha I’m glad you see that man. Yeah I always try my best to get back to everyone. After work I just reply to everyone when I get home lol 😂
Watched this yday. Bought one today. Theyre on sale, bought it around 7k philippine peso, around 150usd, and still brandnew!! Not bad. Such a good deal.
@@WannaBuyIt it depends on what version it is too, I also found that out with mine. I still have LFM, JBL took it off with the newer versions like 2.9.0 and so on
@@snetriq Bro if u use LFM on 80% and higher u might break ur speaker.. LFM is a secret mode and if u use it all the time u might end up with a Broken Woofer.. Don't use LFM it will break ur speaker of course.
@@that_volvo1275 been using it all the time on my xtreme 2 and it works perfectly fine, a year old. It only affected my charge 3, it has rattling issues from LFM.
I have the Charge 5 and just got the Extreme 2 today. I have to say that the CH5 is much crisper and brighter with noticeable treble. I am looking to use one for my car. What do you think?
The charge 5 is a nice speaker they did so good with that one. Depending how loud you want the music can’t go wrong with it in the car. I use the charge 5 in my work truck all the time.
Would have to agree on volume. Thought it would be a lil louder for the size and weight. That being said its plenty loud enough for what I bought it for.....kayaking and out on my fishing/duck hunting boat. Haven't taken it on the water yet but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hear it easily over my 50 hp pushing thru waves. When my cousin has taken his kayaking I can be a quarter mile ahead and tell what every song is and that's still quiet enough everyone near it can converse. The sound does carry well. What it lacks in volume for it's size it makes up for in bass. Personally, I would recommend at the refurbished price. At full price, it's not a steal but I wouldn't be disappointed either.
I’ve had the same feeling it wasn’t loud enough but if you didn’t upgrade it you can activate low frequency mode if you then reduce the bass you’ll get the loudness that we all wanted
Helps me to remember to take my meds, keep me on the loop with severe weather and other random things that I ask for. Absolutely love the clear sound of my music. Durable when I take it with me between homes…never worry about damaging paper thin netting that’s like on other speakers.
Ive got 1 and i never realised how good it was but the added bonus is the bottle opener on the carry strap ,i listen to harscore/gabba/drumnbass pumping techno through it and all that caper , 😁
@@WannaBuyIt I've had an extreme 2 for over a year now and love it. New problem happened today that my speakers volume works up and down with it playing off the battery, but for some reason is unresponsive when plugged in. Any advice? Edit: tried the "hard reset" and repairing with phone and still didn't fix issue.
it has a wider range of lows, whereas if you compare it to a smaller driver like the ones in the flip 4, that has a higher range of mids and highs, it sounds "louder" even though you're literally missing half of the band : A good midrange song to test is Nina Simone - I put a spell on you, a good treble song is Steel pulse - handsworth revolution - good bass song miles davis - so what
I own the Clip, Flip4, Charge4, Xtreme2, Boombox 2 and the PB Encore Essential and I like the boombox 2 the best bc when wired, it gets 20w more of power.
Does it have a "surround effect"? Like does it sound like the music isn't just coming out from where its at and instead kind of fills the room? You know what I mean?
It only sounds bad because when it's using it's battery it's running as a 20w speaker but if u plug in the power adapter it boost to a 40w speaker which is definitely and upgrade
if you want something to be more portable and take up less space the charge 5. If you just want a louder speaker Xtreme 2. if they are around the same price the xtreme 2 is hard to turn down for what you will get.
Same price I would go with the extreme. If I need them for how I use my speaker at work and carrying around all the time places charge 5. The big speakers are a pain for me when I’m testing them at work
I haven’t updated this one since all the new EQ updates dropped but for the X3 it did with EQ now but X3 still overpriced. I will try to remember to update this to see if it had EQ as well I know some speakers didn’t get it
Bro do you know how to turn off power saving mode in jbl xtream 2 Becoz its keep on turning off when its ideal for 10 mins Its so irritating coz i have to again stand up to turn it on. Is there any option like If i turn on the speaker The speaker will turn on for the whole day until on turn it off ?
I think you will be good on max vol but you will start to lose some of that good lower end bass it seem past 70% it’s like everything else boost expect the bass
It was on amazon for 190$ for black friday and it depends where u have it at i live in a small space so it sounds loud especially in the bathroom when i take a shower it sound so loud with so much bass less then half way of the volume i love it. In a big space it dont sound loud like i wanted to though i like heavy bass
$190 is good for this speaker for sure and definitely because the X3 is not a big upgrade from the X2 at all. Yeah I use the X3 for my PC right now and my room is small sound good. But once it leaves that room 👎🏾
For big rooms i suggest to use the biggest possible woofer you can get to get good bass coverage, if you're talking bout pretty big rooms or buildings. Even consider something like one of the JBL party speakers, or Sony has some nice ones as well
Subbed and bell. Just started watching your shit, love you and Floss. Lol anyways, you said you like everything loud,so you may be my new sound guy. I'm a musician and have played hundreds of shows, toured, etc and so I like shit LOUD too. I have 2 questions- 1- I have a Altec Lansing H2o Jacket mounted to my Kawasaki Ninja windshield(the Altecs selling point for me is the tripod type mount on bottom,so I can screw the speakers to,fasten em to my motorcycles,HUGE PLUS. anyways, it's like 15 watts, and I can't hear it as I'm riding, only at stop lights I can BARELY hear it. I'm SURE this is EONS louder and I'd have to sling this on my back or in a backpack with vents,it's too big to mount on a Ninja, lol. So do you think it would bump and be plenty loud over my bike? It's not a loud bike per say. And 2- I keep trying to find the loudest, LOUDEST earbuds possible too that aren't dogshit sounding, lol, and I keep getting trash. What are the loudest around $60 used earbuds you recommend?? JBL Live 300 Floss raved about. What do you think? And ty in advance. I know this is long ^^ lol, sorry.
first thank you so much for that praise floss is big time and to be mention in the same sentence with him means a lot. so the speakers are not cutting it and you want some earbuds to cut out the noise under $60. I would say for me it would be the Tozo NC2 I just reviewed. They are noise cancelling earbuds but unlike a lot of budget ANC earbuds they don't cap the Volume at like 60%. So you can block the outside world out and blast the earbuds. I would say little sharp on the highs on some songs. But you are a loud music player like me and the highs don't bug me much. For sure check out my review on those I think they might be the perfect ones for you. Be careful on that bike bud and stay safe out there.
Oh yea you will love this one. Also check out the w-king x10 just as good for a better price. I have VS battle on my channel. Also the Soundcore motion boom 👍🏾
Look up the battery problems with these speakers before buying.... JBL doesn't do much to help besides telling you to buy a new battery and clean the ports...
Yes- do it. I picked a blue one up from Amazon for the exact same price last year, other than the weight (not too bad though as it has a shoulder strap) it’s a great deal.
Just put that app on your phone that maxes out the sound I forget what the hell it's called but there's a few that make it way louder you can't go wrong with JBL no matter what
I’m sorry you are disappointed in your speaker bud. If you can still return it check out the w-king x10 for $110. I did a sound battle on my channel with that and the xtreme 3 you can check out 👍🏾.
i upgraded jbl xtreme 2 from firmware 1.6 to 2.3 the sound got much worse! The treble got worse and is not so good anymore! . Not always so smart to update! The treble became too low in some frequencies after upgrading. And it became too much off some frequencies in midrange. I did a tone test. 6k. 7k. 8k. 9k. 10k is almost completely gone. low treble is almost gone. so the sound sounds dark just as there is something missing in the sound. People who say the sound got better after updating do not know what they are talking about!!
I think i had one or two speakers that had a worse sound after updating them. for the longest time I didn't want to update speakers because of that. so i know what you mean that sucks
@@WannaBuyIt Nice to hear someone agrees with me. Too many people only think of the most bass and the highest possible sound and not sound quality. On new firmware update then people ask if there are higher sound and more bass! No one cares about the sound quality!
