I have the same model of this speaker, it has good quality sounds but not good thing is the battery charging. I have an issue of the battery indicator is no longer working properly and after i charged for couple of hours doesn’t last long the battery. I have an issue also that the device automatically turning on even without physically touch the turn-on button.

Just bought this from a pawn shop how do I know when it is fully charged sorry if this is a dumb question

For the zip, just push the top flap in towards the speaker. It moves out of the way nicely instead of trying to push it up or pull it out of the way.

Is there a way to password protect this speaker? I will connect this to my PC's bluetooth but my phone's bluetooth will randomly steal the bluetooth connection if turned on. I'd like to password-protect the speaker so only my PC can connect. Thanks.

you can change the battery mine doesn't charge anymore, it has to be connected all the time

So were you looking to get the biggest bluetooth speaker you could find or were you looking for sound and portability.

That is a great speaker! I do have the Haman Kardon Onyx and that sucker pumps the bass like no other. I recently noticed that they have a mini Onyx now, so I'm excited to see if I can ever find one on display @ Best Buy. BTW..I did email DJI support to inquire about those side IR sensors, so we'll see what response I get. Hopefully, a software update could fix that ??

I think so too. For me what i did was i went ahead and got the big sony GTK-XB7 and they are great. But i got them on black friday for around 200 dollars a piece.

I actually need help... So I have the same speaker as yours. So every time I use the speaker it suddenly turns off even thou I use it for like just 10mins. I left it on charge and charged it overnight hoping that there would be a change the next morning however nothing changes. It still turn off every time I use it regardless of charging it . I desperately need help!!

Em... Them "woofers" arnt woofers... They are bass radiators ,there is no physical connection between the radiators and the main 2 front woofers

I recently purchased one of those speakers after watching all the good reviews. I needed a new one since my old bluetooth speaker's battery couldn't hold the power anymore. First impression when I took it out of the box was good, really good. Connected to my phone, fired up spotify and... wtf? Big big disappointment. Firstly, where the hell is that bass? I mean, there is some bass but I can hardly call it loud. And the louder the volume the lesser the bass. If there is any bass at medium volume, it's not even that deep, it's more in the mid range and to be honest it's quite annoying. Every reviewer on youtube said the same thing, that this speaker is bass heavy. Mine isn't at all. Oh and I tried the Bluetooth and Volume down button thing but it doesn't improve my bass at all. Highs are nice and clear, almost no mids, and fthe bass is so flat it's unbelivable. Secondly, it's not even that loud whether on battery or ac. It supposed to have 40W but when I played it side by side with my old 20W speaker JBL wasn't much louder. My old Sandstrom SBTB14 was quite loud for it's power and age and I expected JBL to be massively louder but it's not. Sandstrom could at least keep delivering the bass at louder volumes where JBL doesn't seen to be able to do it. Overall I get the impression that all those RU-vid reviews are either sponsored or those reviewers have never heard a good bass coming from a speaker. I only bought it due to battery life and portability. But I wish I had a chance to test it properly before I paid for it. That way I could avoid buying it and probably could get something much better like Harman Cardon Onyx Studio 4.

It appears to be a lot of fake JBL xtremes out there. Some sell for $350 and some sell this for $150??? Must be counterfeit
