Sing these videos about the JBL Xtreme. Makes me realize the( JBL Xtreme 2 ) is not only a much better Bluetooth speaker than the regular extreme. it's all so much easier to service with the batteries and taking apart.. But great video..
Could you do a tear down of the W-king D8 (or Alpatronix AX500, as they seem to be the same design). I have a D8 but haven't been able to disassemble it. The D8's have a nasty resonance around B-flat 1, and it would be good to check if anything can be done about it, perhaps with acoustic filling, adding weight to/stiffening the enclosure, cutting a vent port, changing one of the internal speakers for one with different acoustic characteristics etc. to spread the resonance peak out a little.

Hiya, awesome vid. Quick question, my JBL powers on and connects to phone, but NO SOUND coming from speaker at all not even a connect sound. Can you point me in the right direction for testing if speakers damage or how to fix please?
Aswin Frn that might be true but if the batteries do get in the way it will prevent the passive radiator from moving or make it move funky, i have a connection move in my charge 3 and when there was alot of bass my passive radiator hit the connetion and made it move weird.
Hey bro I have bought the batteries and got them assembled . Just about to connect them with the speakers. I want to know that if the led will work as before or not?? As well as tell me whether I should charge the speaker for a specific time for the first time or just charge it for regular 3: 20 minutes??? Reply will be much appreciated.
I have a jbl extreme and one of the bass radiators is vibrating. Wat is the solution? Has something vibrated loose or does the radiator itself need to be replaced?
Hi friend nice work i need help from you i got a jbl pulse 1 that battery is dead it seems that it uses two lipo battery i try to replace it with old laptop battery it start up and playing music but cant play in full volume. If i do it then it get restarted
hey Ashwin! watched all your videos, they are pretty nice, keep them coming, My issue here is that my Xtreme is just 2 days old and I have been enjoying my music but all of a sudden I find that there is no bass, the high and mid are perfect but absolutely no bass. is it a defect or something wrong with settings?
+Karbonn St if you feel like it’s not worth for your money! Then return it and request for a new one! Or maybe you’ve been listening to it for a continuous long time! You will definitely feel that the bass ain’t enough! And don’t compare your bass with the RU-vid videos! Because the videos are made so close to the speaker!
There is this thing with the speaker, where you can switch between bass boost, and not bass boost. You hold down the bluetooth and volume down button for about 10 sec, where you switch between the modes. Try that.
Dear Sir, Is there any way to turn on the JBL xtreme without manually pressing the power button ( ac plug attached) I have recently buyed a new smart swith, so just want to turn on and off with google assistant. But I have to manually press the power button everytime to go into pairing mode.
Haha me got a water damaged Trip Key Board (the Control board under the 5 Buttons) and the result, the box turn on if there is any power source. No buttons pressing needed. (Conductor C900 and C901 corroded away) But me want to get this board working again, but nobody knows the correct values from these two conductors.
My xtreme also stays in the last settings, no buttons work anymore, it only power on directly, if battery got charged or Ac Power line stick in. So it will be perfect for you. Think you just need to delete C900 and C901 and it will be like my Box, perfekt for your setup
My xtreme 2 just somehow teared on the side of the passive radiator, the black membrane but I can't see a difference on the sound. I don't know what to do.. I'm thinking sending it back but idk.. Can someone help me?

Hi, what will i do if my JBL extreme does not charge anymore, I need to keep it connected to a power outlet for it to work. Also 1 of the bass speakers on the sides sounds crackly.
Aswin Frn look on the old Lipo Cell. Jbl say the Batterie got 10.000 mah but its not correct. Its only a 5.000 mah Cell in series! I modify my Extrem with 4 18650 li-ion Cells an got 6400mah. I can listen to music over 18 Hours :)
Nice video, I do believe you placed your radiator upside down though lol :) Btw I own the Nyne Bass Bluetooth speaker, If you do, I would love to see how to Disassemble It, replace the drivers, (Without really damaging the Grille)
I need help My JBL xtreme simply won't charge. The Cable for it is still working fine but it could be that the LED's don't show it properly and I i made a firmware update not too long ago so it could have a connection to that? It is also possible that the batteries are broken or idk I would appreciate if someone could help me!
have you tried a different cable? If you did and its still not charging, you might want to go back to the store where you bought it. And if it's still under warranty, I bet they will help you out..

my dream speaker :( but its so expensive here in the Philippines :( dear sir, if you don't lime your speaker no more, maybe i can have it? it hurts for me to see that speaker being teared down :( i just don't understand.
I bought my speaker a while back got the Xtreme thinking it was gonna be super loud but I’m disappointed is their any way to upgrade the speakers to louder ones?
i bought my jbl xtreme like 4 month ago and it seems like whe im charging him its charging up from 0 to 100 in no time (like 1 hour) and the playtime of the speaker is pretty far from 15 hours of playtime... sorry for writing so much, what do you think?
