I just bought this kit to fix a split on the vinyl top on my 78 Town Coupe. I checked out your video to see the basic procedure and more importantly, find out if the repair worked. Apparently it did and is still holding. That's good enough for me so thanks for taking the time to put together a video that gave me enough info about the product I purchased.

Side note: That book of fabric is to press onto your wet paint and meant to be left on for 12 hours. You then gently peel it off; revealing your selected, best-matching texture matcing the surrounding texture of what your repairing

Thank You Mr. Rough Rider. I'm doing the exact same thing on my Troy Bilt tractor that I just put a plow blade on. The idea was to keep the snow from getting to the foam and ending up with a wet back.

Sure would like close up of finished job. Sanding the repair area concerns me about causing further cosmetic damage.
