Your tutorials are always so thorough. Wondering if you would consider adding hen's wing and braided rooster tail whisk tutorials in the future?

you mean a turkey wing? It's on the channel. Braided rooster tail - is awaiting some repair to my wrist before I attempt that project.

@@jchoatebasketry I've made turkey wing brooms (and watched your videos on it!). I think hen's wing is just a smaller version of the turkey wing. I've only seen one video on the braided rooster tail and it's a really poor quality video, so can't see everything the guy is doing. I love the look of it that style broom. Hope your wrist heals quickly!

Where do you get supplies? What kind of sting works best for making brooms. I want to make some for Christmas gifts for my family and your tutorials are so wonderful I just may be able to do it!!

Of course you can! I have sold materials in the past but no longer. The best stick is the one you find on a walk that speaks to you. Whack it hard against a tree, if it doesn't break it's broom stick material.

If you only have an even number of broomcorn which covers the broom handle entirely, and you want to braid it… how do you braid it if you need an odd number of broom corn to do the braiding? Love your videos. I already made my first full size broom, but I got lucky with the number. This time… not so much 😅

In order for you to be able to braid it HAS to be an ODD amount.

Excellent work, it's all very beautiful!! What types of thread and straw were used? (Sorry if I asked a silly question, but it's hard to understand a different language. I'm Brazilian)
