In this video, I'm unboxing, reviewing, and testing out the JCD 8898 soldering station. The station includes both a soldering iron and a hot air gun that can be used for SMD soldering.
This is completely new to me as I never before did any SMD work but now I will be able to tackle some new and more challenging projects on the channel.
The JCD 8898 soldering station performed as expected and it was very quick to get to the temperature which makes it perfect for doing quick solder jobs as well as soldering entire projects.
There was a slight issue with one of the digits on the display that you can check in the video but that's a minor thing and it did not affect the operation of the soldering station in any way.
