This should have been played in front of a big crowd ... both players deserved that at least ... what a great talent they both are ... Congratulations Luke on the great win.
Közel 90-es átlagot dobni, nagyon komoly teljesítmény. Főleg ilyen fiatalon, szép volt Álmos! Ezzel a játékkal pár év múlva lehet keresnivalója a profik között. 🎉
its so nice to see, that even there is no crowd, both are getting the walk-on and all is organized like its a big event with security and stuff 😍 grats to luke, looking forward to his game!
This kid needs wrapping in bubble wrap cos he is something special , He looks so relaxed and just doesn’t look like his gonna miss at times …. All hail the era of LUKE ‘the nuke’ LITTLER
@@frankdevries5739 : his a kid mate who probly still likes his sweets and chocolate , if he gets a good manager who puts what’s best for Luke first then it wouldn’t take long for him to get back into shape but his literally a child who’s just left school man , once he realises what life’s all about when he becomes a man and has his own responsibilities then he’ll understand what keeping healthy is all about , he needs the man mentality not the child mentality, give him time to grow and learn
@@frankdevries5739look at videos of him 3 years ago , he looks absolutely terrible he’s aged awfully in the last 3 years . Could end up extremely Overweight by the time he’s 20
I think what's crazy to see is the difference in their throws at the end of the match when it gets more intense, while Kovacs starts really strong, he struggles to remain his calm and has way more spread and less accuracy in the end of the match, when pressure is on him, while it looks like Littler just improves over time and really starts throwing 180s when he is under pressure. I think this mentality is what makes him truly special at such a young age! 😳
The junior worlds dart championship shouldn't be so quiet that you can hear the producer saying "standby music" before the final dart is thrown. Deserves a decent crowd.
But he needs to eat healthy, instead of all these fried foods he has been eating before it comes a issue later in his career. and health as he keeps growing
"Szekely 'Blade' Pal is a hungarian pro darts player, he usually has 65-75 avg. In his career he threw a few 180s, his best checkout ever is 80, best performance ever is a 13 darter. His biggest win was in a local pub somewhere in a little village of east Hungary, he finished second behind a local alcoholic in a wheelchair. He is really proud of his performance, he said he could teach Luke Littler to be better player. Soon he will be a pensioner, but his future plan is to reach the PDC tour card. He threatened the hungarian crowd about his retirement if he couldn't reach the tour card (everybody was in shock after it)" via Wikipedia
I honestly do not understand the lack of a crowd... I mean, in all seriousness even I have participated in sporting events with more people watching, and I'm not a sporty person. I know it's just the junior final, but I'd expect at least a retinue of friends and family to show up. Were there restrictions in place or what?
Great game between two young talents! Shame about the production! You could literally hear people talking in the background. Just as the game starts the crowd are literally walking in.
Van Veen will win more than Littler long term in my opinion. Monk beat Van Gerwen but didn't progress like expected. I'm excited to see what Littler does because the sky is the limit but personally I think Van Veen will have a better career.
@johngreenhorn8853 Time will tell. They were getting overly excited about Boom Boom Bennett aswell and he has gone backwards very quickly, although he does have time on his side to get back to form. Littler is very exciting, but it's too early to tell if he's going to be a top player. Obviously, he's a special but we'll have to see how he reacts when he comes under pressure in an important match or how he deals with technical issues that may arise with his action. I think Van Veen has a very reliable action that will hold up well under pressure. They're both great players. We'll just have to wait and see.
@thadonis3516 I think littler is more likely to get the yips. That's why I'm not convinced he'll progress the way people are expecting. He's got a very natural throw. He mightn't be able to come up with a solution if he suffers from technical issues. Van Veen has a lovely action. I think it'll stand up well to pressure. Monk is still a decent player but hadn't the gears to get to the very top.
@duanedurkan3565 It's all about opinions funnily enough I goggled Leighton Bennett this morning as you said still has time on his side, thought he was a bit over hyped at the time good player as he was at the time,I just think Littler is defo the real deal,as you said it's all about opinions and only time will tell,I mean I won a steak pie in the Sunday darts comp in the pub once when I was a young lad and automatically thought I was the next world champ,I didn't transpire and I'm still gutted.
It's a tournament for teenagers that I don't believe was even televised live. Of course it seems paltry now that the winner went on to earn at least 100 times that for his performance at the main World Championship, but to the average teenage darts player, that's a solid prize fund if you ask me.
Terrific final. Best player won and the runner-up was no mean slouch himself. Oh, and what a blessing not having to listen to the banality and utter putrescence of the usual morons who inhabit the commentary box.
