The sudden death leg was nerve wrecking to watch. Its always interesting to watch when the nerves get to the players and they suddenly can't hit the doubles anymore.
Makes me feel better about my game to see Phil scoring like a maniac vs. Nicholson, but his doubles evaded him some. He still won but missed so many doubles it’s just amazing how mental that aspect of the game is
The last 5 minutes of this long video is the highest tie breaker drama I've ever seen on any Televised sport in my sixty years. Of course I'm a dart head that can't get enough dart videos but ..WOW that was intense.
O the mystery of darts continues...even those who've never played or understand the rules and scoring are spellbound by the nerve wracking pressure and momentum shifts. Such a beautiful and pure game. So much fun to play even if you're light years from this level like most of us! Get a board and some arrows and start playing!
At the first glance I instantly knew Nicholson is the type of person I don’t like and indeed I hated his gesture, face expression and character, everything that came out of him during the match So I was so glad to see Phil beat him
Wish they’d bring this format back for the final. First round doubles first to 5 (fri afternoon + evening) Second round doubles first to 5 (sat afternoon) Quarter-finals 2 singles first to 4 and doubles first to 4 if required (sat evening) Semi-finals up to 4 singles first to 5 and doubles first to 5 (sun afternoon) Final as in this tournament except doubles worth 1 point and played after 2 doubles
Это было невероятно, хотя я до этого видел не догадывался о существовании соревнований по дартсу.😂 Видно хорошо эмоции участников, ихние переживания… и это заставляет ощущать происходящее как и они.
Darts here in the U.S. isn't as popular as E.U. My manager plays in a league, and he's always talks about it. I told him as a kid I always liked darts, He told me what board to buy. Once I bought my house I designated a area near my pool table in the basement with a nice dart board setup. I have exposed brick that I painted black, blueish distressed shiplap from the ground up about 4ft wide with leds behind the frame, and two light fixtures aiming at the board for no shadowing. I must of spent nearly $600 in darts, and accessories until I found the right setup to throw with. Watching this gave me a better understanding of the game, mad exciting to watch.
It's so cute to see their expressions. I live in a secluded country with a habit of doing it when I'm bored. it's entertaining to see them throwing bad punches. 😁😁
