Honestly. I have watched this video, then a bunch of reactions videos over and over like 15 times since yesterday and I continue to be just as floored about how primal and raw someone can be, and yet combined with a talent for essentially PERFECT singing technique and a willingness to FUCKING GO THERE and emotionally and surgically destroy herself ON STAGE. I am frankly just in disbelief that it's possible to do that, watch after watch. Your reaction is my favorite so far. I was fucking destroyed by this song and her performance.

I am Belgian too. It really touches me that people all over the world, in countries so remote, everywhere, are moved by this song in the same universal way. It reminds me of my dad. One day, he finds me sitting sobbing in the living room, some 40+ years ago. He asks "What's the matter with you?". I replied "It's this movie I just saw". His answer was "Well, if you can cry for a movie, it means there's hope for the future" of something like that. Your beautifully heartfelt reaction reminds me of him. Thank you!

She's Belgian-Canadian but if I'm not mistaken she can speak and sing in 7 different languages. Couldn’t even make it halfway through the video. You can show appreciation without being over the top and distracting from the performance. This is literally one of the most sad and painful songs, performed magnificently and you’re jumping up and down and yelling hallelujah like you’re at church. No sSubscription for me today. May check back some time to see if you can refine your reaction techniques. All songs are not to be reacted to in the same way.
