Hey! Just wanted to let you know I posted part 2 for this song, you can check it out here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kYMNsXqfaSM.html
Also guys on the pedal for this song, you press down on the pedal when you play the left hand and whenever you move from one part in the left hand to the next, you lift off the pedal and push back down. Example: push down on left hand during first formation of G D G and then lift off the pedal whenever you move to next formation like D G B or any other formation you do. Whenever you change parts in the left hand, lift off the pedal and press back down right as you play next part. Hopefully that’s not confusing 😅😅
@@Akinabi-rc5ss oh shoot :( do you happen to have a keyboard? You can buy pedals for those separately. A piano on the other hand you might have to pay someone to come repair it and fix pedals
To anyone that needs the lyrics: Je te laisserai des mots En-dessous de ta porte En-dessous des murs qui chantent Tout près de la place où tes pieds passent Cachés dans les trous de ton divan Et quand tu es seule pendant un instant Ramasse-moi Quand tu voudras Embrasse-moi Quand tu voudras Ramasse-moi Quand tu voudras
So i play piano since one year now (i teached it myself) and now i wanted to learn this masterpiece. Your tutorial is SO GOOD!! Big thanks from me because of your great vid i learned this in one day💗
This was actually really helpful I haven’t really learnt much about my keyboard I just have it and the letters and play parts of songs but like this really helped me to properly learn the song and I’m a beginner it actually wasn’t confusing at all so thankyou :))
Awww this makes me so happy thank you!!!!!! I wanted to teach as easy as possible and not be confusing so I appreciate feedback from a beginner 💜💜💜good job on learning it!!
@@BrennanChilds it’s going great so far, I seriously appreciate how you explain things like a normal person but still make sure to use the proper vernacular! I’m still a beginner, and it’s been cool to learn what’s what.😂 if that makes sense lol
@@InterstellarCloudd Aw thank you!!!!!!! I’m really happy to hear your feedback because that’s one of my goals with these videos is to not be confusing and try to explain it in a simple way so thank you!!!!!! It makes total sense 💜💜💜
hii! thank you so much for making a tutorial. I really learned a lot of things from this tutorial! I can't wait to learn what's in part 2 THANK YOUU!! 😁💕
tysm for this tutorial. ive been wanting to play this for so long but i havent got the chance since it was hard to practice. finished practicisinig on how to play the whole song in 2 days!! thank you:))
People say it’s hard to play, but i clicked on the triangle in the middle of the screen and it played fine.. Joke, its rlly nice to play, i learned much from this vid :)
Aw thank you so much!! I’ll definitely do a part 2 and will let you know as soon as it’s up on the channel :) I’m out of town at the moment but should be up in a couple weeks 💜
I really appreciate your tutorials thank you for them. I'd also really like it if you teach us like chords sometime in the future cuzz now i just remember things by pattern, i know my Cdefgab but i still need to learn the chord combos and stuff so if u r willing to do that i'll appreciate you even more 💗
@@BrennanChilds heyy please do me a favor , can you please make a tutorial on " hilltop road" please I love it but there is not a single tutorial on RU-vid
The video was extremely helpful only feedback would be that in the 12:30 mark you said “we know this” but you didn’t say when to hit the B E C# D with the C G B or with the G D G notes at the 12:30 those notes are played but not shown when to hit with what not like how you were explaining previously Very helpful video continue doing what you do
Hey I’m having trouble fully understanding the part you’re having trouble with. how about you DM me on Instagram and I can send a video to you on how to play the part you’re having trouble with. My IG is brennan_childs
Hey you’re welcome!!! As far as any variations, I don’t know of any for the right hand part sadly :( you might be able to search other tutorials for this song and see if they include any
Vou tentar praticar todos os dias e vou falando minha evolução (sou iniciante). Começando 30/11/2022. Dia 1: fiz até a parte das duas mãos juntas, minha mão é muito pequena e atrapalha o negócio. 20 minutos.
will you do a piano tutorial on “piku theme” please. its originally played by sitar but i really i want to learn a piano version and there’s no tutorial on piano for this music. also, love all your tutorials ❤
great tutorial!! it helped me a lot, but around 24:51 in the video im struggling to play with both hands (mostly the left) and the timing. i know how to play the notes, but putting both hands together is a little difficult. do you have an tips or advice how to make it easier?
Aw thanks I’m glad you liked it!! Yes on this part it’s definitely pretty hard 😬😬 but my besttt tip would be to get each hand down separately and practice it a bunch before trying to put both hands together and then it’s a lot easier.
Hi there! I'm having a really hard time with playing the part at 21:54. I have small hands so its very difficult for me to be able to play this part without accidentally bumping and playing the other keys. Do you have any tips on how to play this with small hands? Or any alternative methods of playing this part?
Hey! Yeah, that part is quite tricky on general so I could imagine it’s extra hard with small hands. I would try to isolate the exact area in that part that you mess up on and then try and play that slowly until you get it down if that makes sense. Hope that helps🩷🩷
Hi Brennan❤, So apparently in my keyboard D doesn't work and my keyboard is like medium sized so i can't shift to another D otherwise I can't play the song ( it's this part by the way 19:20) so is there anything you can help me with!!😍😍
Aw thank you!! For this part you can maybe try playing the first two keys only and leaving out what you play with your pinkie finger if that makes sense. You’d kind of go back and forth between those two keys on each part
I feel you, both hands together is one of the hardest things to get down. My advice is to get each part in the right and left hand down completely and practice it a ton separately almost to the point when you can do it automatically. Then when you try to put both hands together try it as slow as possible, and practice it that way. Then increase the speed. Hope that helps ❤️❤️❤️
Any tips on how to play the interlude with small hands that can’t reach an octave? Like, other than trying to stretch my hands, is there any way to modify the fingering?
Hmmm good question, I would play around with the fingering and see if you can find an easier way. If that doesn’t help you can just play the single key on its own whenever there is an octave if that makes sense
hi i have two questions: 1. i have an electric piano and it has reverb and chorus on it. could you explain what the difference is? my other question is: when I release the keys I often still have a kind of clicking sound after releasing the keys. Do you have a tip for not having this. Thanks for this explanation, I'm busy practicing!
Hey I’m sorry for my mega delay! Reverb just adds an echo to it. I’m not too sure what the chorus function does, you might have to play around with that one. And the clicking is totally normal for a keyboard you could try trimming your nails and see if that helps, that’s what I do to lessen the clickyness. Hopefully I understood you correctly sorry about that 😂 you could always DM me on Instagram and take a video of the keyboard & I can try to help @brennan_childs
Don’t worry you’re not alone! A few other people had the same trouble so I took a video and DMd them on Instagram! My IG is brennan_childs and I’ll send it to you there 💜💜💜
the video was helpful But having trouble with what notes you are hitting when you hitting the B F# B , A E A and G D G with, i felt you didn’t explain the melody on the right hand wit the left but i understand the timing is hard to explain but its hard to see if you are hitting the c# or the D on the right hand with what note you are using in the left hand Help please it frustrates me because i know i can play the song but I cant manage to hear exactly or see exactly when and what note you hit during those times
Hey I’m having trouble understanding which part you’re trying to get down so how about you DM me on Instagram and I’ll try and send a video of the part. My IG is brennan_childs
Hey hey! You can play around with the pedal on this and see what you like best but generally the pedal follows along with your left hand so whenever you change chords, right as you hit the next one you also lift off the pedal and push back down on it if that makes sense
This may not be possible but is there anyway you could do a tutorial on this having 61 keys ? This has helped me so much but once I get into the 2 hands I’m not sure my keys are matching up to yours
Hey! I just posted a tutorial for Ylang Ylang by FKJ if you want to check it out! Here’s the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u3YYLKnymaI.html
Learning this right now! Can you please do the Zoldyck Family theme from hunter x hunter there are no tutorials on youtube and its one ive been dying to learn
Oh shoot :( hmm you could try practicing it a bunch because your hands get more flexible over time and it might help with the reaching. If you can, comment the time stamp you’re having trouble with and I’ll try to recommend what to do for that part
May you please type in the letters which are on the right hand while the left hand goes G GD and D GB. I understand that the right hand goes like B AG E D but how are they played together?
Hey no I don’t do/use sheets, sorry about that! You might be able to find a version close to this one on Musescore, they usually have some pretty good sheet music options. Hope that helps 💕
This is on a piano, but I’m going to release a video soon on different tips for buying keyboards/pianos. I highly recommend buying them used on Facebook marketplace, Craigslist or Ebay. A piano is gonna take more upkeep like tuning it minimally once a year which is about 125$ and also getting it moved into your home will cost some money. A keyboard is more transportable. But I recommend checking online and also local thrift stores in your area!
I recommend checking amazon for a keyboard pedal that plugs into the back of your keyboard by the way! That’s where I got mine. But either way I think it’ll still sound good without one.
So the timing on this part changes slightly and it’s tricky so dont be too hard on yourself! At the beginning you play the first key in the right hand (B) at the same time you play G in the left hand then D & G twice together. Maybe try slowing the speed of the video and practice it that way. Also if you’re still needing assistance you can DM me on Instagram and I’ll try and send you a video of that part. My IG: @brennan_childs
No worries! As far as which finger to press which key, if you need to do a specific one I mention it in the video but other than that it’s not too big of a deal just make sure you’ve got room to move to the other keys next if that makes sense! 💜💜
