@@KAW101very true! They were missing good actors and proper character portrayal. If they're going to make a new movie that need to take a page from the cartoon and get theatrically trained actors, not just "popular" celebrities.
She also said, all this change. It’s all the same. Meaning like the comics they all experience hardship, die, and eventually come back. Let them do what they do 😊
in the comics she died at least 14 times as the prime host for the phoenix force she will be back, reconstructed in a place called the ''white hot room'' (a separate dimension from the material plane) over a period of time she will be back, probably for the end of season 2
Wasn’t the fire-looking energy Cable used the Phoenix Force? He mentioned being the son Madelyn and how her “power didn’t skip his generation” … does Cable have the Phoenix Force in this version? 😮😮😮
Jean has been feeling a lot emotions. Overwhelming, death from Genosha and birth of Nathan. She has Madelyn's memories, too, and she can reach the psychic link with Cable.
If nothing else, maybe they are dead and Bishop will appear and time slide his way to reversing this. Because even if Genosha was a fixed point, the X-Men dying doesn't have to be. Though, he might have to go back to either further than Genosha to before Professor X left or before Madelyn left or after to right before Rogue tried to kill Trask.
She landed in the water so she's fine. Besides if they meant to kill her, a character as important as Storm world get a super dramatic death like Gambit did.
That is some Iconic absolutely beautiful writing ✍️. “Make them mind your weather sister,” “And may they weather your mind”. That’s Game of thrones level writing. That really showcases the bond they both have.
@@jasonhearn5818it means more when a character dies because the audience already has a connection with them. This series is in the homestretch obviously they’re going to pick up the pace and ramp up the action.
My theory is that jean will resurrect as phoenix/dark phoenix in the next season as emma frost join the team and play a big role like in the astonishing x-men and phoenix endsong comics. X-men 97 will eventually change into their astonishing x-men era of the early 2000s
They are not dead. This penultimate episode should "decrease" their power so that in the last episode, the climax will be epic. "Save the best for the last" is what I felt for this episode.
Fun fact, in the comics, even when Jean was the dark Phoenix she still referred to storm as “closer to me than my own sister” and didn’t wanna hurt her, Storm tried to appeal to her by saying “in the name of the love we share” Jean and Storm have a beautiful sisterhood that many X-men media ignore for some reason.
Yeah Jean ain’t dead, phoenix about to be reborn and storm only got stunned because she can really take hits like a Goddess. It’s funny because nothing can really face storm head on she can literally wreck through an army of sentinels by herself head on, literally both times that storm got stunned or knocked out was by a surprise attack to trying to save someone else with risking herself. Also she’s in the ocean I believe if I’m not wrong she can create an air bubble around her maybe since she can literally form a breathable oxygen bubble in space since she controls all atmospheres which is what makes her omega the fact that she can control any atmosphere in the universe. But if she can’t do that underwater then she literally gonna come out of it in a typhoon or hurricane
Jean and Storm’s relationship is as fond as Storm and Psylocke. I love how (Can’t remember what comic series at the moment) Psylocke comes to hug Storm and Storm says she loves Psylocke, then Psylocke tells her ‘I’ve done some horrible things, do you still love me?” To which Storm replies “I still love you.” Very wholesome and I think of that every now and then.
For me Jean are still alive, and she will be able to defeat Cable and Sinister using her psionic form, making their powers change from blue to pink and becoming an omega level mutant
Storm just took a dip and Jean didn't use all her power, she was just trying to restrain Nathan, but it's obvious that she's going to turn into Phoenix, there were a lot of references to that: 1. Images of the Dark Phoenix saga in the intro. 2. Storm telling Jean that she is a Phoenix. 3. Jean destroyed the vehicle that Sinister threw at him with fire and at the end when he was restraining Cable, the fire of the Phoenix was seen.
Finally, I figured out the epic music. Exactly at 1:34, the music sounded very similar to when Jean stopped Scott's beam in the movie X men 2 (2003) when Scott was under the influence of the drug by William Stryker.
I really don't think Storm died with that simple beam. I rather believe that with her Omega level of power, she'll make that group of sentinels shatter when she emerges from the water like a goddess and I can also say that I don't believe that Jean died either, I hope so and these two Cracks will be back.
Dude can you just change the title tho? HAHAHA it fucks the hell out of my mind. On the other hand the sisterhood spirit is just overwhelming. Got goosebumps with their dialogue! "Let them mind ur weather sister and let them weather ur mind" is just so urghhhh! Snatched! So adorable! Kudos to the writers!
Beyond the fact that I'm massive X-men fan, and particularly a fan of both Ororo and Jean as mutants and superheroes, but their conversation on the Blackbird at 0:26 on screen is perhaps one of the most poignant scenes in the show.
As long as Storm can swim, she should be okay. If not, then maybe the NAMOR (cameo) will save her. Jean will turn into the Phoenix proven that she not her clone was the Phoenix. Wolverine will heal himself and be left with bone claws and an even more feral attitude. Forge will simply eject from the plane.
You can see and hear fire pass by Jean, hidden in Cable's blast when she says "Scott, I love you." It's brief, but you can see the head of the Phoenix. She'll be back.
I think you need to re-asess your definition of dead. That hauntingly goosebumpy conversation between Storm and Jean Grey was needed. That was the turning point for both Omega mutants to unleash their full potential without holding back. Storm mentioned to Jean that she was reminded of her when she become Phoenix. This is subtly telling Jean, gurl you need to let go. It is time. I trust you. Likewise for Storm, Jean reassure Storm it is time to show her Omega ability. That conversation was that needed spark. They know that if the unleash their full potential it can also be a threat on Earth. But they know understand where to find that middle ground if things go outta control.
Storm is definitely not dead. The same thing happened to her in the original series. A sentinel blasted her and she fell in the water. After, she came up with a wave and killed it. That should happen again.
So I'm pretty confident that some sort of time traveling will happen that reverses the deaths of Genosha (Gambit and other big names). I know beast says about absolute points and blah blah blah but we lost some pretty popular and powerful characters so I just feel like there's no way they stay dead
Man I wanna see Jean and Ororo have a girls night out with Sue Richards and Jessica Jones in the comics Their sisterly bond mixed with Sue's motherly instincts and Jessica's booze drinking binge could make a really great Infinity comic
I have a feeling the Pheonix will once again forge with Jean Grey, and it will manifest itself under stress. It is a part of Jean Grey, like in the comics since she is the true avatar of the Phoenix.
IDC had Magnus never had The X-Men Genosha would've been a dream come true. Bastian is the only real enemy, the only one to blame! I read other comments ppl talkn bout Onslought. Smh nobody knows exactly how they will change and adapt from the original story. That's what makes it so great to those who haven't read the comics
But the thing is... the ones who just watched the 90 series, what about Rogue and Storm? They were like sisters, in many episodes they helped each other, I know this season is trying to be closer to the comic but...
