Jean Grey Is Alive?? | X-Men The Last Stand Reaction | FIRST TIME WATCHING! 

You were confused by how Charles was alive and they never explain it in a movie so I can tell you. Charles has a brain dead twin brother(which is shown earlier in the movie where he is with Moira). Charles transferred his consciousness into his brain dead twin brothers body.

The Cure storyline in this movie was really fascinating. I wish they focused on that for this film, instead of trying to juggle the Cure and the Phoenix stories.

My only issues with this movie are: 1. that they tried to cram 2 REALLY emotional, detailed stories from the original material into 1 film, personally I would have been much happier with 1 film for the cure and another film for the phoenix saga 2. That they tamper with established characters so much

The main problem with the triquel is that it tries to cram more events and characters into one movie, be it Jean Grey, Juggernaut or Angel. Perhaps this is due to the departure of Singer from the post of director. But the movie is still good.

If you think it’s powerful here as just some dual personality of Jean in the comics the Phoenix is a nigh omnipotent cosmic force called the Phoenix Force that can destroy or reform universes at its peak and do pretty much anything it. Jean is its favorite and most compatible host were she is pretty much the only person who has brought out its full power.

My only problem with this trilogy in general is how they treat my boy Cyclops, he's my favorite X-men and one of the best, so... Yeah... That hurts me...

One of the things I did enjoy about this film is that even though Erik and Charles did not approve of each others methods of obtaining mutant rights, they both always had respect for each other for the fact they just wanted to do what was right for mutants. So it is nice that after Charles dies, Eric still puts Pyro in his place reminding him that just because Charles did not agree with their methods he still had respect for their rights. 🧠🧲

I still think it’s messed up when Magneto abandoned Mystique after she took a dart for him.

I tell this to all first time watchers. If/when you watch Days of Future Past, absolutely make sure you do the Rogue Cut! Days of Future Past in my opinion is one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen, and the Rogue Cut takes this phenomenal film and polishes it even more. Cutting these added scenes for the theatrical release was a HUGE mistake. They are simply brilliant and greatly enhance the work by making it correlate more to this trilogy that you just finished.

I remember an interview were the actress who played mystique said. that the scene in the truck she was so uncomfortable. she was chained half the time and well she was half naked with all the blue make up. I think she could have said no. but I think the CGI back then wasn't there yet.

The X-Box 360 was released in November 2005. Microsoft gave one to the studio for advertising purposes pre-release. It also fits, as the movie takes place a few years after 2006, so the 360 would be fully established by then. A lot of the problems people had with this movie (and to a degree, X2) was that, of all possible storylines in the comics, the Dark Phoenix saga wasn't the best choice for just the first 3 films. It's like starting the MCU with Infinity War.

The cure for some of the mutants were only temporary. Like Eric for example, i think it’s because he’s a high ranking mutant like Jean and Charles

AVI ARAD worked on the first movies as executive producer But for the 3rd movie, he decided to step in as the main producer That's why we got a movie done by a director with no passion, and a limited story overstuffed with characters, just so he could sell more toys

Also, here are the names and powers of a few of the mutants at Alcatraz. Glob Herman: the guy who got hit with a cure dart at 40:08. His power was that his skin was made of wax. Vanisher: the person who teleported off of the bridge. Anole: the person who was hanging off of the tower and fell to his death. He can climb up walls and surfaces and can change his skin to match the surface he is standing on, sort of like a chameleon. Ash: the person who looked like his skin was made of it and was the one who incinerated a bunch of soldiers with his breath. Phat: he was the mutant who adjusted his phat at the gathering. His power is the ability to increase or decrease the fat in his body. (In a deleted scene, he was in the fight, but then got frozen by Iceman and shattered by Colossus. Starfish: the guy who fought Wolverine and could regrow his limbs.

To this day, I still wonder what the powers of the mutant extras at Alcatraz are.

This movie is my guilty pleasure. It's a deeply flawed movie but I enjoy it. Also, can we agree that Famke Janssen (Jean) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) were the best parts of X3 The Last Stand.

He can transfer his consciousness into another body, Prof X is that powerful & they build that up later. Charles & other Telepaths have done that in the comics. In the battle scene most of the mutants have their powers surpressed which is why the X-Men had a chance. The cure is only temporary as you found out at the end. The kid they used for the cure is "Leech". A mutant Morlock from the comics. This is a re-watchable fun movie although I understand the problems with it having alot going on.

Cody; I'm sorry to tell you, this story had no contusion. After the failure of this movie, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the studio took a break from making X-Men movies. They can did a reboot; by telling a tale of the X-Men before Charles' accident, and Eric went rogue. They would bring back this cast in Days of Future Past, but would do a retelling of The Dark Phoenix with the younger cast. It was like they retconned Last Stand. The last two movies in the Rebooted series also didn't do well, and Dark Phoenix would be the last X-Men movie before the Disney buy out.

Its a shame what happened to Scott but it would've given Logan the chance to finally be with Jean IF they had been able to help her get back to normal. Anyway next up X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE!!! Hope you get to that soon man!

Movie showed a comatose pacient (most probably Charles twin brother) and it hinted us that Charles was gonna transfer his consciousness to that body.

I love this one, along with Wolverine origins, Logan, Wolverine, Xmen 2, days of the future past and New mutants. I loved Elliot page in these movies the most. If you like Elliot page in this, I think you'd like her in Juno. (if you haven't seen Juno yet, it's pretty funny)

"What is Angle doing in this movie?" It is true that there is more content to the x-men saga then you can squeeze into a mere dozen movies. (The comic's been going for near 60 years) and there is a virtue in PRACTICING RESTRAINT in this context. HOWEVER Angle does have a purpose in this movie. [[[[[ Every character has a conflict with 1) their powers, 2) acceptance. Some mutant have no conflict with either like Beast or Storm: "there's nothing wrong with you or any of us for that matter" - "at least I've chosen a side, so if you're with us then be with us." Some are okay with their powers but have trouble with acceptance Like Wolverine or Leech. Some have trouble with both like Rogue - who's troubles are with her powers (after she's cured, she returns to her (adopted) family. Angle's variation is much like Rogue only the acceptance part is a one way deal with his father. Every character is a variation on these two conflicts -- it would take time to evaluate every one which is why its all in a movie.]]]]]

So basically people who are comic book fans are upset that they didn't tell it the way, or in the order that the comic books did. Just like people who say the book is much better the movie. In other words you were spoiled by the book (in this case comic books). But for people who weren't into comic books, or who were deprived that joy, they won't have that preconceived notion of how it should go, or be disappointed, because it's a new to them, & they can enjoy it for what it is. I personally was very deprived growing up, & even if I hadn't been, I just don't know how into comic books I would have been, because I was a little girl, & they were mostly geared toward little boys. I have loved every one of the Marvel Movies. I don't really have any criticisms or complaints. I think the movies, & the casting has been awesome.

The reason why i am not a fan of this movie is because the whole cure plot with Rogue makes a lot of sense....but to actually have her take it tho is where the problem comes from. Her as a 'character' Would never take it...even in the comics when given the choice Rogue has kept her powers.....its a insult to the character. Famke was amazing with what l;ittle she was used....over all, the movie seemed jumbled trying to run two un-related plots into one for a climatic finish that doesnt really resolve anything but create a bunch of plot holes and unnecessary deaths of characters....cough Cyclops (I dont even like the character but still he got shafted. This is also when the Wolverine show started to wane on alot of fans)

Jean is too powerful and uncontrollable to be left alive. The mere fact that such monsters can appear naturally due to mutation justifies the extermination of all mutants. There can be no peace with them, because there is always a danger that a creature similar to her will appear, capable of destroying the entire planet alone. In the name of the survival of intelligent life on earth, they must be disposed of. Okay, there's Ororo, Wolverine, or even Magneto. There are many extremely powerful mutants, but their abilities can be controlled with technology. Mankind could eventually, by spreading the X gene, move to a higher stage of evolution, preserving the social structure and controlling aggressive mutants. As for example, in Genosha, all sorts of psychopathic mutants were sent to special prisons. But creatures like Jean cannot be stopped by anything and, having fallen into madness, they will be free to do whatever they want. To the point of destroying the planet. According to the cut scene, she is not only able to decompose matter into atoms, but even create, for example, a star with an endless supply of energy. It is because of this threat that all mutants must be killed. Let us not be able to fly, throw lightning or control metal, but intelligent life will at least survive on Earth in principle. Mutants are not only dangerous, they are a dead end path of evolution, because a species that is not able to simply live on the planet and develop is doomed. Before the appearance of the Phoenix, it was still possible to think that mutants were able to exist on the planet as people, after its appearance it became clear that the spread of the X gene must be stopped and stopped quickly.
