Jean Hill and Mary Moorman were standing on Elm Street when the presidents limousine passed by.
Moorman was standing on grass about 2 feet south of the south curb of Elm Street in Dealey Plaza, directly across from the grassy knoll and the North Pergola concrete structure that Abraham Zapruder and his assistant Marilyn Sitzman were standing on during the assassination.
Moorman was standing only 20 feet behind and to the left of President Kennedy with her friend, Jean Hill, and they are clearly seen in the Zapruder film. Between Zapruder film frames Z-315 and 316, approximately 1/6th second after President Kennedy's head was shattered at frame Z-313, Moorman captured a Polaroid photograph (her fifth that day) of the presidential limousine and President Kennedy that also includes the grassy knoll area.
Mary Ann Moorman (born August 5, 1932) is a witness to the assassination of United States President John F. Kennedy. She is best known for her photograph capturing the presidential limousine a fraction of a second after the fatal shot.
Norma Jean Lollis Hill (February 11, 1931 - November 7, 2000) was an eyewitness to the assassination of United States President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. Hill was known as the "Lady in Red" because of the long red raincoat she wore that day, as seen in Abraham Zapruder's film of the assassination.

Why has the public never been permitted to see the confiscated photo showing the TSBD building while the shooting was happening? Why was Ms. Moorman's property never returned to her? Why was her property permanently confiscated, whilst Mr. Zapruder got a payday?

If there is someone dressed as a Policeman, or Secret Service Agent, as many witnesses, in the area of the grassy knoll, stated; and you were told to leave, as they also stated, then you would! But the point is, the Secret Service and Police had no one on the knoll behind the fence, which means that someone was presenting themselves as law enforcement and attempting to prevent people from looking behind the fence. Which is a clear sign of a Conspiracy.

@@davidarbuckle7236 In that case, you will explain the logic in putting fake agents up there since of course the minute the REAL Secret Service announces they had no agents up there the existence of a conspiracy is promptly confirmed. @@zenica12 There was suspicious cars driving around the parking lot with men acting just as suspicious. According to the men working at the railroad. Also, people recalled seeing and even speaking to a man dressed like either a police office secret service agent, I can’t remember but I believe SS agent. There was no record of anyone posted to the area where he was seen and he was stopping people before the shootings. Plus, although two shots came from the tsbd, it’s literally impossible to get the second and third shots off as fast as the witnesses recalled, which was a shot( from tsbd that missed very very badly) followed by two shots almost right on top of one another. Many people heard more than 3 shots even upwards of six. I do believe the people who heard 5 or six shots were in a place where they more easily heard the shots and the echoes. There were definitely 3 or maybe 4 shots though and at least one had to come from the fence where many people saw smoke over there after hearing the shots. It’s also a location where it logically explains the injuries to President Kennedy’s head just as the wild miss that hit a curb and struck a man, and the shot that hit President Kennedy in the back and exited his throat could only logically have come from the tsbd or thereabouts. I’m not one who lays full blame on Oswald for this murder. I don’t give him a pass either. I fully believe he was a part of this plan one way or another but did he fire those two shots or was he “ a patsy “ just as he said he was. If he was truly the guilty and there was no conspiracy, why would agents covertly block his calls from jail and why was he not allowed an attorney when one had volunteered publicly to assist Oswald? It’s in the details and between the margins where this conspiracy becomes reality pretty fast. I apologize, I know there’s much more to this aspect of the story but it’s been a while, I strongly encourage thoroughly researching the JFK assassination, it’s a fascinating story that quickly however becomes very frustrating as you will likely learn that the Warren report is very unlikely.

She went with Mary to take pictures of a cop she had the hots for.The further away from the events of 112263 the more confident she felt that she could tell what she knew based on what she'd seen and heard. This was typical of many witnesses who were there that day. Jean's memory and vision have nothing to do with it. She was healthy in mind and body right up to her death. R.I.P.

This is what happened that morning of November 22, 1963 in Dallas and the Zapruder video speaks very clearly. The presidential limousine takes Elm Street and after a few meters the first shot fired by Nicoletti starts who, together with Rosselli, was hidden in the Dal Tex Building. The first bullet misses its target and hits the sidewalk of the triple rail crossing at the end of the square and a splinter ends up in the face of James Tague, a passerby who was standing there. The second bullet hits Kennedy in the throat, and as you can see in the footage, the president puts his hands around his neck and Governor Connally turns back to understand what happened. The third bullet misses and ends up on the lawn where it is later found by an FBI man and Deputy Buddy Walthers. The fourth bullet hits Connally who emits a grimace of pain as seen in the video and brings his right hand to his stomach because he accuses an immediate pain and then the bullet pierces his right wrist and plants itself in the thigh of his left leg. The fifth bullet hits Kennedy in the back of the head and the sixth bullet, fired by James Files hiding on the grassy knoll half a second after the fifth shot, shoots both Kennedy's blood and head back, and the brain leaking was due to pressure. of the sixth bullet that had left an apple-sized hole behind Kennedy's head, as evidenced by photos of 14 people bringing their hands to the same spot on their heads. I say with certainty that the bullets were 6 because it seems that a shot was fired about every three seconds, that is the time to reload the rifle. Returning to Connally, which is the key to clarifying the mystery well, there is a lot to say. 1) First of all, from the angle in which Oswald would have found himself firing, which was about 45 degrees, only Kennedy would have been hit and no one else, the bullet could not in any way make a deviation and then hit the governor. 2) When Kennedy is shot Connally turns around to see what happens and stays there for about three seconds, the time to reload the shot in the rifle; if the governor had been hit by the magic bullet, at the same time as the president, he would have had the same reaction as Kennedy and would have neither the way nor the strength to look back. 3) The governor Connally when he is wounded is still turned and you see a grimace of pain as I mentioned before him and then turn forward again and collapse on his wife's legs. 4) In the video you can see how Connally bumps his head in front of the glass that separates him from the driver's and assistant's seats. 5) Do you know why Connally was hit? Both because Kennedy threw himself on his wife's right shoulder, because bending over did not hinder the trajectory of the fourth bullet that almost grazed him hitting the governor, and because the shot was fired by Nicoletti from the window of the Dal Tex Building and reached the governor, because Kennedy was leaning towards his wife. So, not only does the first missile reveal where the shot really came from, but also what hit Connally. Indisputable and real evidence, but unfortunately denied by many, including the Warren commission which veiled so much evidence.

I agree with most of this explanation but Files was not there……and the large exit hole in the right back of JFKs head doesn’t have the correct angle if a shot came from the closest knoll area……look at Moormans photo and take a straight edge to it, it doesn’t line up…..the exit would have been on the left side…..unless the shot came from further back down the fence…..

Zapruder, who would have been the closest to any picket fence shooter, notably didn't report shooting coming from his right. As for Hill's recollections, any witness who claimed to see a non-existent dog riding in the presidential limousine cannot be relied upon to give an accurate accounting of the number of shots fired or their source. I alwayd found it strange how she gets in that spot to take pics of the president and all she takes is one pic and when he was passing her by. I dont think she's ever mentioned it in all her interviews I've watched. @@mrsinister8943 well.. she had a poloroid camera didnt she? so one pic every 10 to 15 seconds. so she could only take 3 pics in 30 seconds or 45 seconds. "The Moorman picture has been digitally enhanced for television documentaries. In the photo, blood and brain fragments can be seen exploding forward, which contradicts the theory that the shot came from the front. Moorman’s original photograph was never confiscated by the FBI and in 2008 she sold it on ebay for $175,000. On the contrary, a second picture taken by Mary Moorman that shows the sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository moments before the assassination was lost. Ive heard about how some cameras back then took 10 seconds to take a pic but I've never heard that from Mary and also in not saying its not true but I'm not 100% certain that was the deal with her and her camera but let's say it is true and her camera did take 10 second intervals between taking pictures. It seems like she would have definitely taken more than one picture and at the most 3 pictures if she was lucky. I'm sure she had to have known about the 10 second intervals and would have planned it out in how she could take the most pics of the president and his motorcade. She could of taken one pic before the turn on Elm and as the motorcade was heading towards the TSBD which probably wouldn't be that good of a pic. I would figure she would definitely want to get a good pic of the president and his wife as they turned on Elm and was coming towards her and depending on the time of 10 seconds her 3rd pic would be as the limo passed her by as we see in her pic with the fingerprint on it that she sold for 175k. Even if she took just two pictures which seems like the actual plausible way to go then that pic lines up just how you would expect 10 seconds to go by. I don't see why she picks the best spot with the fewest ppl to take a pic and only take one pic. Any person would want to take the money shot and that is the president's limo coming right towards you after it had just turned on Elm and then one more pic as the limo passed you by if there is enough time cause im pretty sure 10 seconds doesnt pass from the turn on Elm to when she took her famous pic. I don't know if she's ever stated how her camera operated in any of her interviews. I could be mistaken and missed that part. I just always wondered why her very first statement that day she says she took multiple pictures and why she would only take one picture when she was at that spot to specifically take pics of the motorcade and she knew that spot would have the fewest people around.

@@mrsinister8943 it's because she was using a Polaroid camera, which required a certain interval between successive photos. The Muchmore film shows Moorman is standing with at least one foot on the curb when she took her photo. Moorman is actually out of frame and in the sprocket hole area on the Zapruder film when she took her photo. People keep pointing out that she is standing on the grass BEFORE she takes the photo in the Z film, and totally ignore that the curb and her feet are obscured by the motorcycle in front of her (in the sprocket area) in the Z film when she actually snaps the shot.

@@jimmylieb5225 and once again ... NOT A SINGLE FACT - - - Nobel-prize winning physicist Luis W. Alvarez would shortly thereafter publish his own analysis of the Zapruder Film. Prof. Alvarez examined a number of different questions being posed at the time, including the number of shots (based on jiggle analysis), the shutter speed of the camera, and the President's reaction to the fatal shot. On the latter question, he concluded that the puzzling backward lurch was the result of a recoil effect (commonly referred to as “the jet effect”); this conclusion has been backed up by subsequent independent experimental studies.. In the current paper, the physics surrounding the shot that struck President Kennedy in the head (near-instantly killing him) will be examined in considerably more detail. Figure 1 shows an overview of the Dealey Plaza crime scene (using Google Earth Pro), including the locations of Mr. Zapruder, the Presidential Limousine (or limo), the sniper's nest, and the trajectory of the shot, which was fired at an approximate distance of ≈81 m (266 feet). The weapon purportedly used was an Italian military Carcano Fucile di Fanteria (infantry rifle), Modello 91/38 (Model 1891/1938), manufactured in 1940 at the Royal Arms Factory in Terni, Italy. 2 This weapon fires ≈10.5 g supersonic projectiles with a muzzle speed of 658m/s that remain highly stable in flight through air. The effect produced by such high-energy projectiles upon collision with a human head is catastrophic as has been characterized through ballistics experiments. In examining this, three separate dynamical phenomena will be considered in Section 2 that explain behaviors observed in the Zapruder Film, namely (1) the initial effect of the forces directly imparted to the target (head) by the projectile, followed by (2) the secondary effect of the directional release of explosive energy escaping the skull cavity, and finally (3) the nervous system reaction to a massive wound to the brain.

Jean Hill said 3 or 4 shots were after the President slumped down. Ist shot missed, and hit curb ricocheted and hit man down by the triple underpass on Commerce Street underpass. 2nd shot hit JFK in upper shoulder as a enterance wound and left out his throat and went through front windshield. 3rd Shot hit Governor Connelly in the right shoulde as he turned around. It came out the governor's chest, hit his throat and graised his thigh and maybe lodged into floor of the limousine possibly. Shot 3 was possibly a miss from the Badgeman behind the wall behind the Pergola. It overshot the limousine and nicked a manhole cover in medium between Elm Street and Main Street and tunneled under the grass. 4TH Shot came from grassy knoll's storm sewer vent, which was the kill shot with a frangible bullet entering JFK's temple area above his ear. It exploded fragmented pieces inside his skull, ripping up a piece of his skull leaving a large gaping wound in the back and go left from rear. Blood and brain particles flew up into air which trailing motorcycle cop was splattered with. Mrs Kennedy dove after the skull piece and Secret Service Agent Clint Hill dove on back of the limousine and rescued her. Then the limousine speed away.

Don't make much of what they said about where they thought the shots came from. It is often very difficult to tell from which direction a rifle shot came from. This is why snipers usually don't care so much about the sound of their shot - they care more about the muzzle flash revealing their position. Also, if you were standing in a spot and a high powered rifle were to be shot so that the bullet passed in a straight line in front of with you being perpendicular to that line, the sound will often appear to be coming from directly in front of you - which is consistent with the statements and the facts here.

@@ericg3810 the best evidence of where the fatal head shot came from is the Zapruder film, which shows the reaction of JFK's head and upper body to the shot. It's totally consistent with a shot fired from the front and to the right. Time-Life Corp. bought Abraham Zapruder's film for $1500,00 right afterwards, and locked it in a vault for many years. In an edition of Life magazine published shortly after the assassination, they showed stills, but reversed the frames to make it appear that the head shot pitched JFKs body forward, and used text asserting the same thing.

Also, it requires some searching on RU-vid but it there is an extensive interview of an employee of a Kodak lab, who also happened to be a former U.S. Navy photographic intelligence analyst who was called late in the evening, either saturday or sunday, by his very highly placed boss at the Kodak lab telling him to go to lab and open it up, that another photo developer would be joining him and that a man would be coming in with a film and to do whatever that man asked them or told them to do. He is highly specific about this unknown man and what he wanted done to the film. Then the analyst does go into specific details about what the man wanted and what indeed was done, and I do mean highly specific, ie. : 1) cut out of the film a frame showing a bullet striking a lamp/sign post, 2) excising the frame which shows the slowing down to the point of almost stopping of JFK's limo, 3) inserting what the developer/analyst said was a "shadowing" over the back of JFK's head where they could see his boney plate of his head swing out and up, and 4) removing the frame showing or mitigating the blood & brain matter that flew, as the analyst said, 3 - 4 feet upwards behind Kennedy. This Kodak man was high up in the Kodak hierarchy due to his abilities and extensive experience as a navy photo analyst, including handling and analyzing U2 films from flyovers of Cuba during the October - November missile crisis. He lays it all out as to what was asked of him and what was done to the film, which was intercepted from the Life magazine courier on it's way from Dallas to Life's headquarters. In light of what he said, he should have been a "loose end" that needed tieing up.

2 points: a. Has photo #4 been subsequently released? b. Ive never heard any other witnesses saying that JFK&Jackie were looking at a dog in the street. It doesn’t mean anything - except gives credence to these two ladies as the witnesses who were closest and most focused on JFK and Jackie at the time of the shots.

Here's a clue. The "OTHER" Moorman photo is of her boyfriend McBride. at 4:45, the entire photo is seen. Freeze the screen. That tall tree behind him has been daubed in with a sponge to simulate tree foliage. That tree never existed. Look at other photos from that day. No such tree covering that corner of the windows of the TSBD. Only the sparse row of shorter shade trees along the front of the building. Someone has taken the time to "retouch" her Polaroid photo. With ink. Hiding WINDOWS. Nothing to see here...

The close-up photo of the gunman looks like he was wearing spectacles, possibly safety specs, he parted his hair on the right (which is usually the girls' side) and he had a reflective badge on his left breast, so possibly a police uniform. It looks like the photographer even caught the flash of the rifle.

Jean Hill at one time even claimed She took the picture and Mormon said that she stepped in the street to take pictures of the cops 15 minutes before The limo was there. She also said she was on the grass and stepped to the curb to take said picture with Hill right beside her hollering to get the Presidents attention.

'Badgeman' critics say the figure is too small; shooter would have to be elevated and back from the fence. We know the photo was in the hands of the FBI after the shooting before being returned. Do anyone with a photographic background know if a portion of an image can be shrunk AFTER it's developed on Polaroid film (i.e. applying heat focally)? The Z-film/other photos were doctored, why not it? Especially with the thumb print--none of her other photos show a print or evidence of handling.
