Great to see the detailed description of crop planning, this is one great thing about CSA that you can plan everything in winter and than execute the plan through out the season. Overall very useful presentation and full of practical advice's, Thanks ! ;)
Why take the covers off to switch sizes? Roll up the big one & create a system where it extends. Raising will be key. But the cover will be in place. The skeleton will be in place. Just a matter of adjusting to preferred size & taking the cover away when deemed necessary. Save the 4 hrs & dont rebuild over & over...maybe. if I understood your process right I believe there is room for improvement on time for other production. An idea maybe

Ramial chipped wood (RCW), also called BRF (from the French name, bois raméal fragmenté, "chipped branch-wood"), is a type of woodchips made solely from small to medium-sized branches. The adjective "ramial" refers to branches (rami). RCW is a forest product used in agriculture for mulching and soil enrichment. Smaller wood chips are digested more quickly by soil biology so it does work.
