The first album I heard was Equinox on the original Sony Walkman in '79 and I fell in love with JM. Now, in '24, I'm still listening to it. The original versions are timeless and at the same time they evolve with each new release.

Mon papa était fan de ce monsieur, il m'a passe le gout pour cette musique électronique et j'ai 54 ans et Jean Michel Jarre est pour moi notre King de la musique électronique....le meilleur qui soit...........Si je peux vous recommander le jeune Kébu. Got the pleasure to see JMJ at Docklands i can still remember every drop of rain and every single sound my little fun sponge heard that night. Been a lifelong fan ever since and id give body parts to see him again

One of my greatest regrets was not actually going to the concert, because I thought it would get cancelled due to the weather ... I lived about 20 miles away at the time so it was a bit of a trek, and by the time I found out it was still on it was too late.

J'approche les 40 ans, JMJ c'est l'artiste de mon enfance. Le premier artiste a me faire aimer la musique étant enfant. J'étais fasciné d'entendre ça dans les années 80 étant enfant (le concert à la défense je le regarderai en boucle). JMJ ne sera jamais démodé, jamais. Il était la avant tout le monde dans la musique électronique, un demi siècle d'avance sur son temps. Toujours aussi incroyable aujourd'hui. Le maître de la musique électronique

Moi, c'est pareil. J'ai grandi avec sa musique. Le concert à la Défense c'était génial, c'était un chef d'oevre dans le genre. J'ai aussi regardé plusieurs fois le concert de Londres - Destination Docklands. C'était aussi un spectacle inoubliable. J'ai eu également l'occasion de voir deux de ses concerts "live", quand JMJ était venu dans mon pays. Fantastique!

Some time ago, I saw a program on arte I believe, they took him to a studio with an exceptional 3 dimensional sound system; he immediately started to explore and experiment, it was heartwarming to see, how he grasped it on spot and made it his tool.

На живом концерте - в смысле в новогоднюю ночь в VR-шлеме... То что здесь - больше похоже на рендер со стороны, из разных интересных заранее продуманных точек. А что было видно в тот момент из шлема...

В Москве вживую было очень не плохо. Не всё услышал. что ожидал, но разве это повод пропустить то. что никогда не повторится? Композиции немного скатываются в клубный жанр, но всё равно интересно. На пороге формат звука DSD256... Да. Это 1гиг за 10 минут... Но и визуал подтягивается. Что придёт первее: чип в мозг для контроля или оптический вход в мозг для lossless audio? ))))))

I saw jean michel when I was 17 at docklands it was a long time ago. I’m now 54 I live nearby in Dagenham. I remember just passing my driving test and driving my car with me and mates and we saw search lights in the sky we just followed them along the A13. when we got to the lights we pulled over and got out the car. I didn’t know who he was then I heard oxygen from that moment I was hooked it was brilliant. I’ve loved he’s stuff ever since . I don’t know how he dose it but it gets better and better. keep going Jean michel. 41:32
