I can never tell if the album version of that song is a real sax or synth. You made it sounds great, although I would love to hear that riff on the Selmer. You're incredible. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the review! I just ordered one and can't wait to receive it. I don't have anything to compare it to, so I'm really hoping that I love it. I've never played, so please wish me good luck!!!!!
Heeyyy Justin! Remember me? :) (SaxAndStrings) Nice you're uploading again! You're going to a more jazzy side of music I hear ;) I hope you're doing well! Awesome you're doing other things than just playing songs, nice to hear you speak Greetings from the Netherlands.
HI, did tons of research on Saxs to get started and kept gravitating backed to this one. I just ordered and can't wait to get it and try it. Your video helped me to decide to order this one. The company also has amazing customer service !! It seems like a great instrument for the money thanks
This was really cool, glad to see you're getting some recognition and some sponsors finally. I would love to see a vid from you about your tech setup and all of the tools you use to produce your covers and record/edit your sound. I think that would be really cool and offer some cool insight to behind the scenes of what you do and whats behind your vids
i bought one of these, and it is smooth. i did lose my neck strap have to get another one, cause practice without it, make the thumb hurt something bad.
You have a really nice tone and playing style. Could you please do some of your covers (esp. Rather Be :3) without ANY effects/background music?! You were/still are a big inspiration to me, so I started playing sax 2 years ago (when I saw your cover of Let Her Go that someone uploaded) 😊 Keep up the good work!
just bought one! thanks to your vid, i wanted a yamaha yts26 for starters but they want almost 3K... im extremely eager to learn and play but 3k is a bit much for start. Your ending was killer!!! hope to play like that someday, should of started years ago.. im 32.. here goes nothing!! awesome vid!!
its a good sax, seems im getting the same sounds this guy is, but im just starting out, my lip posture needs lots of practice, i need to get the basics down, good sax for starting out, a pretty piece of instrument, keys on it are soft and very playable, nothing stiff at all, free flowing, sounds like it will sound awesome if i can play it right lol
I just got a Jean Paul Silver Plated Tenor last week . The weird thing is that : At first, I had a cheaper Mendini sax - on it I could hit the high notes easily - but there was a little trouble with middle D and most of the middle notes sounded empty . No problem with the low notes though . Now with this JP - everything is fine except I am having trouble getting the top high notes - it takes me several minutes to finally get my embouchure correct enough to play them - and then it is still difficult to play them consistently . I tried 4 different mouthpieces and 3 different reeds - including a synthetic . On the cheaper sax - the synthetic reed worked the best by far - I had some troubles with the cane reeds . On the JP - all the reads perform about the same .
Awesome!!!! Nice review, I just got a Tenor last month for the best and luckiest price ever, but it did need some work so I handed it over to my grandfather and he's having some people work on it to get it in better shape, but it's a great horn, it's brand is woodwind, I've been trying to find out more about they're horns but I've had no luck, do you know anything about them Justin Ward?!?!
I want to be like you. I currently play the flute, piccolo, and alto saxophone. I want to go into music ed in college. Any music colleges do you recommend? I need to learn more over time. Any good instruments for not a bad price? I'm just going into my freshman year in high school. 💓
I can see you're progressing! Prayers are working! We love you over here in Nigeria! And I'll keep praying for you. I am also praying you would plays hymns someday. Thanks. By the way; I love your microphone. Thanks for the updates. Love your techniques too...
What's the name of the song being played at the end at 5:22 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L4Sh-MpderA.html)... anyone knows, please...
