wovaapeli Thank you so much. I assumed it had something to do with university/Yliopisto. So "kunta" is union? Then "valtakunta" is "union of power" or something like that, I assume?
CaptainTaelos "Kunta" can be put to any Finnish noun, and we will get a "community". For instance "kuppikunta" = "a community of cups", which means a somewhat secretive 'club' that can often arise at a workplace or similar. "Varuskunta" would be "a community of supplies" = a garrison. You will never run out of words in Finnish. Programmers might call the language "fully extensible" and "not strictly typed" - almost a complete opposite to German, I'd think.
