My husband & I start every morning watching Jeanne’s comedy pieces, We love them and are able to start our day off with really great laughter. She is a breath of sunshine during this pandemic. Thank you
I truly love this lady. She can take a simple story and some how it becomes Grandma Freddie's kind of story and it is funny..........Thank you Mrs Robertson for bringing so much joy to so many .
Love her stories! Add to that the fact that now in her 70's, (though she does not look her age), she is still a Very attractive Lady. Making me laugh with her clean humor. Love her sparkling personality!
My grandmother’s name was Dorothy and she was 6’1” tall. The girls used to call her Dottie long legs and seeing you and your smile remind me of her. Thank you for being you.
the voices she uses are those of my family gone to the grave. that's exactly what everybody sounded like and i'm so sad nobody speaks that way anymore. it makes me cry to hear but i can't stop listening.
My family and I were living in Southern California when my husband answered a phone call from an aunt in west Texas, she said hallo Teaaad, this here’s your ant Meryl. When he hung up he said that’s the first time I’ve ever heard my name pronounced with two syllables, yet he was from Oklahoma. I still smile at the thought of that story.
Hi Jeanne, I’m from Edinburgh, Scotland, am 88 and have only very recently come across your shows on RU-vid. They are wonderfully funny and I am so enjoying them. Thank you very much.
I just discovered you and I love you!!!! Erma Bombeck got me through a lot in my earlier mothering years... BUT I really needed YOU to help with my marriage! My life with my husband of 48 years who I love and respect(: and sons who I adore(: could have gone a little smoother! Anyway…do you happen to need any more material! Keep it coming!
That is a beautiful story. It shows the maturity and support that exists in communities where people know each others gifts and small vanities and are kind to both. Lovely tale.
I just love you and your wonderful God given talent. My husband and I caught your show in Frederick, MD a few years ago. Your humor is so you. Keep on with God's blessings.
Your are an amazing woman and I’ve been enjoying your humor for years!! Love hearing your stories, and pass them along to family an friends. Thank you for all the fun an laughter. God bless you!
We were so disappointed to have your show canceled in Omaha on March 22. We have missed so much because of Covid-19. I have been a huge an of Jeannie Robertson for many years and was so excited to have her coming to Omaha in March. But due to Covid-19, it was postponed to November 2020. Hopefully, we will be able to be able to see her then. I love Jeannie Robertson !!!
Jeanne, you make me smile, even on my worst days. I can even share them my grandchildren, (16 and 21,) don't have to worry about language or innuendo. I can't even choose a favorite, I love them all. Thank you for the happiness you bring us.
Mrs. Robertson, I never get tired of listening to you tell your wonderful and fun stories. If you ever come back to the Longview, TX area we will see you again. Our TXTECH Baseball team is playing Duke this week in Lubbock.
Just found out about her @ a month ago. Watch her every day. Can’t believe I hadn’t heard of her. Genuine clean humor. Love her. She looks fantastic for her age!!!!
I love Jeanne Robertson. I was born in Alabama, raised in NJ, but kept in close touch with my family in Alabama. I finally got moved back to my “home” in 1979, and have been here ever since. My family tells stories so much like Jeanne, especially my maternal Aunt. I have never tired of hearing her tell family stories my whole life. At 96 she still tells them, and when I listen to Jeanne, she reminds me so much of her. I am so sorry that Jeanne passed on the first. The world of comedy has lost a great comedian, and she can’t be replaced. R.I.P. Jeanne.
Oh, Jeanne Robertson, you bring me such joy and laughter! I know so many tell you this same thing, but I am 57 years old and suffer daily of horrible chronic pain. I take the pain medicine my doctor prescribes, however, the pain never leaves. It goes down some, but it is constant. So, when I tell you how much I love your speaking, I mean my usual tight, miserable face, loosens up and I smile and even laugh! You bless my life with your familiar, Southern wit and stories I can relate to! No vulgarity, or meanness, or cussing, and I am so thrilled to hear you speak! Thank you for touching my heart, and my soul! May God continue to bless you and your family! By the way, the golden retriever dog was my companion and best friend, and she got cancer this pass October, and I had to put her down. I miss her so dreadfully every day, and I am so thankful your "wisdom" helps me find something to smile about. Thank you so much for being the voice of genteel Southern people!
Just love you Jeanne! I am from NC and now living in Georgia! I really enjoy your videos and humor! Thanks for laugh this early Saturday morning. 💕🙏🏻😊 Kaye
I Absolutely Love you & left brain humor...Do ever come to St George, Utah so l could meet you. You are so funny & Beautiful. A joy to my ❤ Heart. Thank you for your wisdom.
I love hearing you speak; not only because you’re wonderful stories, but because you sound exactly like my sweet little darling Gramma Opal from South Carolina. I miss her.
I just love you, Jeanne! I'm a Carolina girl myself. Daddy was from "little Washington" (as they call it) in NC, and Mama is from North, SC - the city so big (cough) they named it after a direction! I've lived most of my life in Charleston and that's probably where I'll die (but hopefully not for about another 50 years!) Keep telling your stories - the laughter keeps us young! :)
Laughter the best medicine.... helped me heal on 2 occasions of being bed ridden. ....bought me Laughter and a positive mood at times when were mundane in spirit..
Precious! The story reminds me of my dad's small town in central Texas-Elgin, and all of my precious aunts. I bet your grandmother was just darling. Thanks for the story. Lesley
You are hilarious...I heard you 5 min ago on Pandora and I was like who is this and looked u up and now I am having a marathon of your comedy:) your different ..epic
@Colorado Strong You have to be kidding! The very idea of correcting a comment made four years ago with a response as, "sheesh," says that someone must have an inferiority complex. By the way, every sentence begins with a capital letter, eg. "You're..., while an ellipse has only three dots, not four like you used between the word"different," and "sheesh." SHEESH!
Grandma Freddie reminded me of my dear mother, (the original drama queen), while we were on a long flight, I overheard her telling some poor unsuspecting soul that she was a "World Traveler". Mind you, she had never been out of the states, went to Yellowstone Park once, Utah once, New Mexico a few times!
Another fine performance,(speech) best stand up comedy ever. And what is sooo suprising, there's not one little - bitty piece of T... at all!!! Pur' southern humor 😉😇😀Carole Ann Uk.
I like this story cause it reminds me of how fun and forgiving the world is and Jeanne I had a funny mom and Aunt Eloise! They did spooky stuff keep us on our toes!😂
The accent you used when repeating what your aunt said about your grandmother sounded EXACTLY like my 2 aunts!! (2 aunts, 4 uncles and my dad) They were born and raised, on a hog farm, in Reidsville NC. Up near the Virginia border in Rockingham County.
Jeannie, do you ever have speaking engagements in or near Indianapolis, IN? If so, I would very much appreciate a schedule, cost of tickets, etc.. Our ladies' church group would certainly enjoy laughing at someone other than the preacher from time to time! :)
And yes I know I spelled it heals cause that's what you need when you wear them a long time 😉... trying to.. keep me smiling... it's tough to do it these days...
