That’s why I’m a member of the Battlefield Trust. We try to preserve battle sites. Stuart’s wife arrived an hour after he died.

Love the topics and geography and figures you are highlighting. Makes me miss Virginia from afar. In the past, it was strange to visit this site, as it has been so absorbed by development, makes it hard to imagine that other era and battle in particular.

I really like watching this video podcast because you really show as much as possible into a short and informative piece of time, I really appreciate how you make it feel like I’m right there with you shootings the video footage and listening to you explain the terrain and actions that took place, thanks so much because you have put a lot of thought into how you want to convey your message, and unbiased information about what took place on these fields of struggle and carnage of Americans with different perspectives on the future of their understanding of self government, and the way it would shape what we are today, because of what they did there. It is extremely important and emotional to accept these very true facts, that there passions was so high and beliefs so strong, that death ☠️ was the very essence of what would decide the power of the struggle, that would in time make us all one of the greatest superpower’s of the world with high responsibilities, that we can and should know from our experience, that mighty strength of power is a tool that must be tempered with certain cautions and not to be taken lightly, not for granted, and that it is seriously in our hands 🙌, to not shed blood, for the sake of power but for the sake of justice and laws, and rights, and to defend those, and to oppose those that would trample them for it is what they done then that has lead to this our responsibility that those men both sides, fought for their beliefs and died for will not be fought in vain, for the side that lost, surrendered to honorable parole’s and the winner’s of the New Republic, with additional amendments to the Constitution, which are adopted by the states of today, the United States, has fought many wars together and in the last half of the past century we are integrated into the multiple cultural people that we are and have become, We the people of the United States of America, owe it to ourselves to learn these things, so we will not have to ever repeat such a domestic issue between us again, we are together and should be resolved to make us the best team on this glorious globe 🌎, and help others see this good light we are striving to be! From where I’m sitting now I can see the home of John Huff, who fired the shot that killed Jeb Stuart. Probably one of the single most devastating of the entire Civil War.

The name of the Union soldier that shot JEB Stuart was John Huff whom was in the 5th Michigan Calvary

Stuart was with his wife in a nearby house when word came that union cavalry was coming and afraid for his family’s safety he immediately ran to his horse to go after the enemy. He was a gentleman and great cavalry officer!!!

Stuart's friend and fellow officer, Heros Von Borke, went back to his castle in Prussia and proudly flew the Confederate battle flag over it for many years, until the day he died....in honor of Stuart and the men he fought with. With all the things happening in our cities today, even though I am from the North, I have the feeling that Lee and Stuart actually were fighting for US !!
