@Immortal little late but mostly have issues with high pressure diesel pump near 200k, but depends if you run with full tank or always near reserve, i know people had to replace at 180k and other have sold the car at 260k with no problems. A good thing to preserve the pump is to add half liter of 2strokes oil to the tank every 2 full refuel. Other "issues" is the cost of the dual mass flywheel on later versions. That was a very good car but had a very short life, at least in europe, hyundai used to sell it like a suv for moms with a bad emissions range(mine is a latest version by 2007 and is Euro3), but in reality you have to drive like a truck, and the only electronic help is abs.

Terracans are good, had mine for 15 years but it would be nice if they had made the handbrake a little better !

Both the vehicle are not on same marshy areas. How comparison can be made if terrains are different?

Unfortunately what came after this as 4x4 from hunday is veracruz and kia mohave both cars have better engines but unfortionatly they don't have solid axels they have indipandant front and rare suspension which make lifting the car is almost impossible
