Pregunta: ¿como retiras la transmision en caso de averia, desarmas la suspension, por que las barras de control estan sujetas al crossmember y a su ves la base de la transmision?.
Hi Austin. Thanks for this video. I'm currently researching 3 link & 4 link long arms for my XJ, and it would be an upgrade from my short arm setup. What's the difference between the two, besides 3 or 4 links? Why would one choose 3 link over a 4 link?
Oh God I was cringing when he was hammering that bushing in. I would have got a large socket or piece of pipe the same diameter as the bushing and the hammered on that instead.
Yeah it probably would have been better to find something better to hammer it in with or to press it in. Unfortunately this was before I purchased my ball-joint press.
I would either reach out to some companies that make a 3 link kit and see if they can provide you with the upper link. Or you may have to build one yourself out of DOM tubing. There are some companies that sell DIY kits for links and steering such as RuffStuff Specialties.
They actually did transfer more vibrations through the jeep. Since the upper link was heim joints on either end and no rubber isolators. But overall not a big deal just mostly felt it in your feet.
@@OutJeeping Nice that's like three hours from me, I'm in the Chicago suburbs, not a whole lot of places to wheel locally compared to when I was back on the East Coast. I'll have to take the trip down there. Great content as always brotha
