The turn signal issue that I mentioned towards the end of the video. I want to make clear, that I did some farther research online and it seems that I may need to install some type of a new flasher relay I wanted to make note of that because I even went over my wiring and the wiring is 100% accurate... I certainly did not want to mislead anyone. I will keep you all posted...
Just to let all of you know, you do not need to use the springs and you do not have to do any adjustments at all. When you install these however you will have to use the long Allen head bolts that come with the headlights you cannot reuse the factory 10 mm bolts. As far as my issue with the turn signals it looks like I may have to order a relay flasher that can take that load of power. So I heard new gladiators have the wiring for the factory LEDs already in the plug-in case you get them later, can you just tap into those instead of the turn signal
I was just getting on to see if you had issues with the turn signals. I installed these on my 22 gladiator today and during my first drive it said both my turn signals were out. I checked and they were. Went and bought new factory bulbs, went home to install and they were fine. Turned truck on and they worked! I don’t know what’s going on! I also had to adjust my lights down. I got brighted a few times during my first drive, adjusted them down and my second drive I didn’t get brighted at all.
I ended up disconnecting the daytime running lights the white ones I chose to take the Amber turn signals and make them daytime running lights Digging deeper into my issue with the turn signals by the way I did have issues with the signals I was told I had to buy some type of resistor can't remember exactly the name of it when I started pricing it The cost for the resistor was more than what I paid for the lights this is why I ran the lights the way I did So apparently you have to get some type of load resistor and they're not cheap
You need to run the add a fuse directly to F52 in the fuse box with the supplied red wire with the fuse on it. You can’t wire it the way you did that’s why your DRL’s are miscommunicating with the turn signals.
actually you have to use the bolts that are supplied the casing is a little thicker where it mounts for extra support. I did not use the springs. I will be trying them out for the first time in the dark in about a half an hour from now it's about 5:42 a.m. here in Pennsylvania. I'm going to try them on my way into work and then when I get a moment I will let everybody know in the comments here whether or not they would need adjusted.
