Glad the video was helpful! It saves money and time until theres cash in the bank to upgrate to a switch pod or something fancier! I am actually going to relocate my switches because i like to run my fogs on these Oregon highways at night and dont like reaching down to turn them off for traffic. I know they arent "road legal" but its dark out here and im driving lots of country roads at night.
Great video! How much (if any) visibility through the window at the top do you lose with the Pro 6 light bar? I’m tall and currently when I’m at a stop light I have to hunch down a little to see when the traffic lights change.
Thank you! I’m 5’11 and I would say it isn’t much of a cutoff of vision from the top maybe an inch or two. For someone tall it might be a little worse for looking up to high stoplights but I can’t say for sure.
Thank you man! They are actually not as bad as you would expect (for a Jeep with mud terrains and a light bar). I’d say the pre light bar noise was a 5/10 and the light bar took it up one notch to a 6? (10 being unbearable) It’s not too much difference really and not whistling of any sort
Yeah for sure so I actually didn’t put it all the way under more so just pinched along the outside. It stays just enough to hold but it’s still visible along the edge of the pillar. Don’t try to stuff it all the way behind it otherwise you’ll never get the screws in.
Also definitely run the wiring first under the cowling then you can test fit the bracket and see how far under the edge you can get the wire before the bracket won’t fit
Dumb question, but where on the battery do you connect the wires? I’m trying to surprise my boyfriend with the lights on our gladiator while he’s away already installed. None of my friends or I know what to do lol
The diagram that comes with the lights let’s you know which is positive (gets connected to the red positive terminal of the battery) and which is negative (connected to black/negative of the battery) then a ground that gets connected to the body of the hood. It’s a fairly intensive installation I would check out Jeep generations install video!
My bad man didn’t mean to spend years building a relationship with a company spending tons of money on their products and providing a bunch of content out of passion for what they do, I’ll be better next time! But for real they make the best lights out there so I don’t see what’s wrong with showcasing them 👍🏼
