That's very similar to the 78 Camaro on a 96 Blazer frame with 44" tires I built for metal detecting. I went the extra mile and put in a 40 channel CB radio with dual antennas. May save up and get Truck Nutz for Christmas.

I've had one Jeep in my life! A 1983 Scrambler. Cold as h*ll in the winter inside. But, dang, did I have fun with it in the summer!

Nice! My Dad had an 82 Scrambler that he was literally purchasing when my mom went into labor. I grew up in that thing and wanted one ever since. We did the Rubicon in it several times with the club. His was black

Yeah, Brandon. We need to see more of you. You are the only metal detectorist in the west. Everyone else is on the east coast. You were my first watch cause I am in Montana. Second was the Chig and then Hover Boys. Bought the wrong beginner detector though. Was looking more at price and reviews rather than the big three. Keep them coming. Have found some interesting historical places in Mont.

DrTones24k my family has been going out there for years now deer hunting. I mostly go along now to metal detect, look for old buildings, and Native American stuff. I swear some of the roads out there are glorified wagon roads lol.

Awesome vehicle and I want one, but I’ve heard that Jeep doesn’t have a reputation for lasting too long. I’m curious as to the longevity of it.

Fuddy Duddy Honestly, I’ve owned 4 jeeps and two Toyota’s (3 if you count my wife’s) and I’ve had less problems with my Jeeps. One of them had 230k on it when I sold it and never had an issue. I’ve had lots of body damage from Toyota’s plastic push clips breaking at freeway speeds and sending the FJ cowls through my window. My wife’s highlander needs a new antilock break module just went out at 100k. Had an electrical issue with the infotainment center too. Had to replace the whole thing. I dunno. Probably just bad luck

Does the mopar lift utilize the stock rubicon fox shocks?

It uses custom fox shocks made special for the mopar lift. They’re longer and slightly bigger diameter.

@@AlanTrades I think it’s prefect. Anything bigger would really start to cut into your mileage. I think 35’s on the mopar lift is the sweet spot

Wow your a mind reader, I'm out fitting a 96 Grand Cherokee Edition I just bought, it was own by a rich guy who towed it behind his 300,000$ couch. It was setting on his ranch for a few years as he had bought a new one some time ago, it was used as a hack around his property. So far I've got about a 1,000 into it total, I want some of those goodies you pointed out Thanks, your living the dream for sure. I was very lucky to find this Jeep, if your really want something there is always a way to start somewhere. 👍👍👍👍👍😋

Every time I hear you say "Dirt Fishing America" I feel disappointed. It's more of a family outing / vacation channel now and sometimes there's a metal detector. That's not a criticism, it just is.

Well... I have family now. I like to spend time with them. I live in a HORRIBLE place to metal detect. There’s plenty of other channels based on strictly metal detecting. I’m more than just a detectorist. It makes me feel sad that people only expect that from me.

@@DrTones24k Well, I said my comment wasn't a criticism and I meant it. You work on the internet so you can't get bent out of shape every time says something you don't like. My point is / was your channel is called "Dirt Fishing America" and you don't anymore. You are absolutely right, I or anyone else doesn't have to be here. To be honest, I've been thinking about unsubscribing but I've been a sub for a long time, I have your book, read it, and liked it. Yours used to be my favorite channel. Your content, your personality, and the editing are among the best so clicking that button has been somewhat difficult. As long as your videos make you happy, that's all the really matters.
