On off and hold button would be cool. For the auxiliary switches. For instance turn your fog lights on with button number one, if you want to turn it off just press it to turn off, to select high beam ( if your fog lights have that function like baja fog lights) you press and hold button number one and bam high beam on. That would allow 3 functions on just one of the buttons instead of using 2 separate buttons for the fog lights.

I have aftermarket air lockers and a factory sway bar disconnect. Is there a video outlining the programming of the factory swaybar and locker buttons with your full setup. I have the tazer and 8 relay box. Thanks!

This looks awesome. For someone who already has the factory kit, is there the possibility of mapping another vehicle button to tigger the AUX switch. Say switch 1 is set to Momentary and connected to an aftermarket horn. Would it be possible for the Tazer to map the steering wheel horn ring to trigger Aux1 when ever pressed? Or map the left turn signal to aux 3 with a left side spot light or rock light and aux 4 with the right side mapped to the right turn signal?

Caution to buyers. This product does not support the backlight illumination of the factory switch. From support: They do not have the illumination option with the ambient lighting of the vehicle and only illuminate when a button is activated.

It was an honest over sight, the engineer is updating the product with the addition for the backlight illumination

I'm a bit confused, does this kit just have the OEM switches and your custom relay board? and then you just use the Tazer to program the head unit to talk with it?

As the video shows starting at 6:33 you don’t need the TaZer at all to use the kit. If your vehicle doesn't have the OEM switches you can purchase those and our kit would be able to control all the functionality of them, with or without the TaZer

I have a 2024 Willys 4xe and interested in getting an Auxiliary kit only, not a tazer. Would it still work on my Jeep? If it works, can I control those switches on my screen menu or only in the gauge cluster just like you demonstrated on the video?

As shown, the kit can work without the TaZer. The TaZer is what enabled the Aux screen on the Uconnect. If you don’t have the TaZer, the Aux menu and button remapping will be done on the gauge cluster Email support for any compatibility questions - support@zautotech.com

Wait, I’m really confused as well. My JLUR came with locker switches but NOT AUX switches. Why would I buy this product IF I still have to buy the OEM Aux switch kit? If I buy that, it would essentially give me all of the same options…. The OEM AUX switch is around $300-$400. And once installed does everything yours does already. Why spend an extra $350 just to have some fuse panel? I can get a complete AuX Beam panel for way less $275. and call it good. This makes no sense unless you sell JUST the Aux switch panel for a lot cheaper then MOPAR OEM kit….then you got me sold. But until then… I don’t think this makes sense.

That’s totally up to you, our installation is fairly simple compared to the OEM Aux switch kit (which you can watch here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LPIawjyrp1M.html) The price is almost the same. Our kit is $350, the Aux buttons are around $70, so both options for OEM buttons and functionality comes at almost the same price Those that will benefit the most from this kit are lower end models, as mentioned in the video

@@zautomotive Oh, so if we can buy JUST the ‘4 switch” buttons for 70.00. Then that makes all the difference. I thought you had to buy the whole kit. Not just the buttons….. well if that is the case, then I am all in…. Do you know where to get the buttons? Everywhere ai looked just sell the entire kit for $400….
