Thank you Richie I live in Denver Colorado and the lady is in the hospital here. She has serious injuries and will recover. She had her 2 dogs with her and they are not injured much, no broken bones. The dog’s are being cared for in a foster home until she is able to take care of them. We are all praying for her. God is definitely taking care of her. Thank you everybody for praying for her and her family. Thank you for setting up a go fund page. We in Colorado have a wonderful 4 x 4 community and it truly is a miracle that the man filming wasn’t hurt. We are raising money for all of her hospital bills and her family is so grateful that you are helping her also.
Hallelujah & praise be to God!!! I'm so glad she survived it, & is mending. I know she has a long way to go, but praise be to God she survived that. Prayers for her & for all. God bless you !🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@Nancy Harmon this lady is in my prayers! That's terrible. But I'm so glad everyone is okay! Denver Colorado has some good hospitals. I of all ppl would know that. I've got some past experience there with my nephew
@@kaitlinarnett5755 I also have had experience with this. I broke my back and the Dr. did surgery and it is a miracle I am alive. They said I would never walk again and I am so Thankful that God carries me and lifts me up when I am sad. We have Craig Rehabilitation in Denver. Pass it forward and we will raise a prayer chain and a circle of people to pray for her. Call everybody you know and share this woman’s story.
@@robertslatten556 the lady was thrown out of the Jeep before the Jeep fell in front of the truck filming and the dogs were rescued. You can call the Colorado Rescue. Facts are Facts
@@robertslatten556 It's really hard to believe that there's people in this world that are so stupid that they would think this real accident is fake, but you've proven once again, the world is full of stupid people.
@buttercup Kin I've had some stupidly close calls as a passenger with friends. The last time we almost went over I got pissed and vowed I'd never drive up a mountain again as a passenger. A lot of people don't take it seriously.
I agree , some people get so comfortable and end up oblivious to little things like the red jeeps parking brake not working. Had he ever serviced his parking brake this may have been prevented but people rarely use the parking brake while driving their automatic transmissions and never think about the parking brake needing service.
Wow wow , been on that road with my old Bronco many times as well. They think it is a playground until stupid is and stupid does. Times are what they are and you are a good man for helping everywhere you go. Great work Richie
@61_ 60 ≥﹏≤ Dude HE knows our every thought and intention!! HE knows every time a sparrow falls from it's nest and even the hair's on your head counted.
Man....that's a vicious roll over..dude is lucky...that's about as close as you can be to being a second away from calamity...if I had money I would contribute..I have zero but i will pray for their recovery
I did that trail the day before this happened... this is an extremely DANGEROUS Trail... i was scared shitless!!!!! One wrong move and ... well... yeah....
An angel must have snatched the woman to safety!!! 😮 ... Much like something that once happened to me. Thank God she is still alive and prayers for a full recovery!!! 🙏
@@happydays4551 If you would have seen or lived through my experience - you would have zero doubt that things can work out that way. I should have died March 16, 2003... But an angel stopped something from crushing me to death. Instead, I only ended up with a broken fibula. I saw the angel with my own 2 eyes. My dad and brother were both there and agree that I should have been crushed. Believe what you want, but my God is an awesome God!!!
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! Prayers of healing to the driver of the red jeep. Happy to hear the dogs weren't hurt & really happy the guy in the Jeep filming was not hit. What incredible footage. God speed to all.
Its great to see your take on this incident and I'd like to remind everyone that seatbelts don't always save lives. When you're in a place like this unstrap and unlock then always be prepared to abandon ship instantly 🤷♂️
I know that every bit helps and sent what I could. He’s totally right, these off road trips are not a theme park and should be respected. Stay safe everyone!
God is Good This was no mistake, bad timing, or anything but Divine Intervention to not have one death and even the puppy dogs are doing ok, the man filming is a walking miracle as well as the lady, this was meant to be and lessons for many to be learned. Much Love and God Bless
If God existed and was good she would never have rolled over the edge and wouldn’t be in the hospital, right? If God existed and was benevolent then bad things would not happen to good people. Nope, this was physics which is uncaring, mean and cruel.
Hugh Redmon I do t know the driver but I bet if we could ask him he would confirm that something out of the normal happened before he witnessed this and it cou,d have been as easy as slowing down to look at a hawk on a tree for only 2 seconds, enough time to prevent him getting taken out by jeep a d even more he speaks up and says hawks are his favourite and he's never seen one in this area his whole life Get it? It could even be a fly started flying around his face making him slow down enough to prevent it, another reason to not harm anything living, even a fly, for that fly might save a life one day and be used by God to do it Read Job from Bible or watch a video on it, it's the part where the devil asked God to temp man into not believing in God anymore, God allowed it and the man they picked was Job, for he was the most faithful to God. I bet you find it interesting to see all the things the devil tried and when it didn't work well he won,d use others who don't believe in God to whisper things in their ears to do bad things to him. Get it? Check it out man, maybe something clicks, I can tell Hiu God is real and his Son Yahushua Hamashiach Jesus Christ, but that's for you to find on your own. Much Love and God Bless
I have watched Jeeps go End over End in Moab, I've seen them Tip Over and roll. The rule of Jeeping, in my opinion, it slow down, use spotters, and if you need to exit your rig, you make sure it is in PARK and turned off. If you own a standard, PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL. I watched a rig going up a steep slope, she missed her shift and tumbled backwards down the hill. You are absolutely correct, this is not an amusement park. Stay safe out there and I'm praying for the girl.
@Eddie Sloan I heard the Jeep slipped out of gear...my JKU has NEVER slipped out of gear. I can only think this was a standard Jeep. But if was left running, that would mean it had to be turned off. Something in the narrative doesn't make sense.
Thanks Richie again for incredible footage of what appeared to be the last moments of someone. But GOD'S hand was upon her and her dogs , I read the comments and noticed someone saying she had 2 dogs, my goodness , I couldn't even imagine having a wreck and being saved but losing my kids or my dogs. We have 2 dogs and equally are part of our family , thanks again for the incredible off-road footage and all that you do for everyone..
Holy cow, sending prayers and blessings to all involved. This is why I avoid shelf roads like the plague. They scare the shut out of me....bad vertigo....plus they are dangerous. Socks because living out west, they do go to the coolest spots but man, not fun at all for me. Glad everyone survived and is safe and receiving care.
OMG!! What a MIRACLE all around; GOD IS GOOD!! With little to spare we are praying hard for all involved!! My son is a jeeper and wants/ wanted me to do this trail with him; not so sure about it now?? Perhaps something less dangerous. Thanks Richie, stay safe out there.
The guy left it out of gear and trusted the parking brake with her in it is one story. One of the few cases getting ejected helped the passenger. That area is beautiful but so unforgiving.
I’ve been watching off road videos for about 3 yrs and you made an interesting point. These trails are not theme parks. Most videos makes them seem as if they are
That red jeep footage is something you would see in one of those Spy Who Shagged me movies with Dr. Evil's henchman going over the cliff... or footage from an Inspector Jaques Cleasueu movie with Kato . At any rate, I hope that Woman driver is OK.
@Moogie B I know what you're saying because if you watched any of those movie car crashes in Smokey and the Bandit or The Spy Who Shagged Me and others, notice there's no engines in those cars they purposely wreck. Thank God the driver who captured this footage wasn't taken over the side of the Mountain by that jeep or by the trail of rocks and debris that followed it.
Sun Set That’s your choice and I’d be the last person to try to convince you otherwise. Some folks need more. We’re on this planet for a reason, and until anyone can explain it to me otherwise, that reason is fulfillment. I love this sport, but wholly respect it and the dangers it brings. I could sit on the couch and be safe, until cancer or some other unfortunate event comes along and takes me. It’s not for everyone, but those who do this sport have to take care, not only for their own wellbeing, but for the sake and safety of others, as this video makes clear. Our thoughts for the injured lady, may she be strong and fully recover and our thoughts also for the driver and the many others who rallied round to assist in the situation. God bless all of them.
Thank you for sharing this. I’ve always been enchanted by Black Bear and just randomly stumbled across you video tonight. Donated to her Go Fund Me and thankful to see she is recovering, slowly but surely.
All it takes is 1 wrong decision or hit a bump , sneeze, swat at a wasp, ect , on the edge of a hill , at the WORST possible moment. Best wishes & hopes for full recovery to the injured person
Richie I am a huge RFB fan and an avid wheeler and member of the New England jeep/overland Community. One seeing how beautiful the West Coast is makes me want to go wheeling so bad in the Colorado/Utah area. Also, it’s great that you’re bringing awareness to this woman’s accident you’re right in this community we always help each other back up whether it’s getting out of the same cold with a ratchet strap to a tree and a winch or when somebody gets hurt like this god forbid... keep up the good work my buddy
Wow,That jeep was demolished! I know she survived, but how? By God grace she is still with us. A persons skills have to be exceptional to even attempt this. The thrill must be huge when you finish well. Yet, accidents can happen. I pray the lady recovers emotionally from this. Thank you for showing this Richie. God bless you.
The Fish Creek Canyon road in Arizona was enough to cure me from sucking eggs! No thanks! I wouldn’t be on that road....er.....path....in Colorado either! Prayers to this woman and her dogs for a full recovery! That didn’t look like anyone would survive! ~gasp!
That’s a hard lesson to learn. The people who were in that Jeep are lucky they weren’t killed. You can’t be safe enough and never take your eyes off the road. If you wanna take in the scenery stop your vehicle have a look then continue on your journey. Be safe everyone, in situations like this there’s no second chances.
I lived in Telluride for a while. It's common occurrence. Off roaders from all over come. Bucket list kind of thing. I mostly mountain biked it. Best time was with a local who had a Pinzgauer 6x6. it's still so sketchy. Props to anybody who handles those trails. Back in Ouray or Telluride at night for some food and drink.. Good times!!
This video hit home, I lost my 19 year old twin daughter in a jeep accident on hwy 18 in Southern California. Her boyfriend, their friend and her were coming up the mountain from fly fishing and her boyfriend hit another vehicle and the jeep rolled down 100+ ft off our mountain, my daughter was ejected from the backseat and died on impact. I’m so glad the girl in this video lived because there is no worse news than the call I got that evening. Prayers are with her🙏🙏
I see this and wonder when San Miguel County shuts this road down from the top to Bridal Veil PP to anything larger than an ATV. So many accidents as of late, some fatal, from people who are in over their head, have little to no experience, and attempt perhaps the most dangerous and challenging 4WD road in CO. I hope the woman who was seriously injured recovers. Glad you weren't taken out by someone's momentary lack of concentration and/or arrogance.
Too many of my favorite roads in Colorado are already closed to 4 wheelers. Black bear is famous for its thrill, scenery and Oh yea switchbacks. I have done it in a CJ-7, a Suzuki Samari, and a GMC Jimmy. Sure it takes skill, a proper transfer case, bladder control and knowing your equipment.
I read her husband stopped the Jeep, got out to help another driver, and while he was out, the Jeep rolled away. He tried to catch it, but couldn't. She was thrown clear in the first roll, or two. Lucky family.
God must have that woman guarded with some angels or something because that was a miracle that not just her but her dogs too were okay! My prayers go up for this woman.
The red Jeep didn't drive off the road. They were stopped and the driver got out of the Jeep to spot for the Jeep behind him and somehow it started moving and rolled over the edge.
@Moogie B Why? IIRC the hand brake failed and he didn't have it in gear. Luckily (in this case) the passenger wasn't wearing a seat belt and got thrown out pretty quick instead of being strapped in till it came to a stand still.
Wow Richie!!! That was a trip!!! So glad she is alive & getting better. That was one awesome video man!!! Like you I too didn't think it real either at first. Thank God Almighty that she survived!!! Thanks for sharing man!! I would donate money to her if I had it, but I don't. I am struggling just to survive at this point. I really wish I could help. I have always been a helper until I became disabled I still help people, but just not with money because by the time I pay my bills I can't afford to. But will say many prayers for her I promise you that my friend. And prayers to you also Richie. Safe travels man. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The fundamental problem I have with these roads is, as a driver I can't enjoy the scenery. I'm too focused on the driving. So now I do paved semi safe roads where I can enjoy the ride. Though I hit one in the bighorns I had no business being on with the vehicle I had.. my passengers were creeped out but it was easy for me.
My offroading intent just got a little more tamed. There is a serious balance between conquering fears and taking foolish risks. The difference is preparation preparation preparation. Build your skills and experience before stepping up to the big ones. Be overprepared. Accidents are accidents but increase your margins for survival by what I said earlier. Just read the Bio on the survivor, Suzie. She sounds just like one of us, loving nature and outdoor adventures. Hope my little donation and the many others help your journey to recovery ahead. Rooting for you Suzie.
an epic godsend for sure cannot believe she survived i myself was in a roll over accident in an 18 wheeler and i will never drive one again mentally not stable to do so nor phisically godspeed to all with all do respect happy trails to all and safe travelels
The lesson here is Don't ever leave you vehicle unattended during unstable or precarious conditions ... story is the driver got out to help another and cost his passenger (the girl) serious harm...
They need to put this stretch of land under the control of the NPS and start issuing ORV permits. This trail sees too much traffic these days and its probably only a matter of time before it gets closed with all the accidents every year.
Unreal!!! I read in the comments the driver put e-brake on and it slid back?If so Any experienced offroader knows you never trust just the ebrake. You put it in gear/crank the wheels into the hill and never get out if there is any chance of the vehicle rolling back. Now this person is experienced...
I’m glad to see the woman’s update and that she is recovering. Sadly we are going to see a lot more of these accidents. If you follow any of the new bronco forums there are armchair off-roaders insisting that it’s the vehicle and not the driver that prevents these accidents because I guess they think their vehicles will come equipped with parachutes? A young woman the same age as this lady recently rolled her Bronco sport off black bear pass just like this and so many blamed the car alone. Be careful out there everyone because you are going to see a ton of these new bronco owners (of all models) with no off-roading experience take on black bear and think they can conquer it. Hopefully they don’t kill themselves or anyone else.
Scary! Reminds me of the time a dirt bike crossed the trail ahead of me at a very high rate of speed, same deal, he missed hitting me by a few seconds only, had to be doing 40mph riding off trail!
@@danthomas9077 Yes that is a very high rate of speed to ride blindly thru the woods on a deer trail at... I guess you have a death wish if you’d do it faster.🤷♂️
If you haven't seen it here is a video from several weeks ago when Bleepin Jeep as well as several other off road vehicles got caught on Black Bear during a torrential downpour as well as hail and then a rockslide which trapped them until rescue and recovery could clear the pass. There were several hikers also on this trail at the time as well as one that may have been lost in the incident. The video is 20 minutes but the storm starts about 14 minutes in ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-njLv3Q18KEU.html&ab_channel=BleepinJeep

Okay, that is legitimately terrifying. I drive a WK2 Trailhawk and have thought to myself that one day it might be fun to go and do this trail with an experienced group that can help me learn the trail but that footage right there will likely keep me forever off that trail. I'll stick to Moab and that area.
It's no joke how much your lime of site goes down on even slightly bigger tires like 33" 35" get into above 38" 40" you better know your vehicle and the space it needs all the way around! one thing the original poster said was his Friend behind him in the white jeep radioed him that he could see a Jeep that had gone over the edge and was headed in the path they were going! this driver said he himself couldn't see it but he was looking up for it since he got a few seconds of warning and only saw it right when it was there right in front! ....
