Did you figure out the cause of your leak? After a heavy rain I hear water slosh/run when I turn while driving. Yes I end up with a wet passenger floorboard. Think mine might be a combo of causes because where I park is under oak trees & those leaves make it in near the cowl & all the way down the inside to that area near lower door hinge. Have to clean that out often. But lately the floorboard is more wet than usual.
@@julieb9215 I just cleaned out the cowl real good check for cracks on the seam sealer might have to redo it with caulk if they are broken up. Mine hasn't leaked at all in the floorboard since I cleaned it.
@@Ruckusism Well I removed my wiper arms today. It wasn’t nearly as easy for me but I did it. Then removed the cowl & cleaned out all the debris hiding under there. After that I cut some small pieces of hardware cloth & puttied them in place over the drain holes. Hopefully that will allow the water to drain but prevent the leaves from working their way down in there, building up & then causing water to run inside.
This doesn't apply to 2004 grand Cherokee. My wiper arms look nothing like that and they're PERMANMTLY INSTALLED. To replace, a QUALIFIED MECHANIC would need EXTENSIVE tools to remove the ENTIRE assembly. Nothing "simple" about this. Of course, you probably spent lots of time messing with your non-2004 GC in advance of making this video.
