I love mine. I agree with you they could stick out just a tad more. Also wish they had an S bend in the bar to get the mirrors more forward in the door opening.

Dope. thanks for the review. Their expensive but you get what you pay for. I thought the same about the 67 designs phone mount. Now I wish I would have ordered sooner because its totally worth it. These look to rank right up there.

Nice. I was actually looking for a set of mirrors to throw on the xj when I rip the doors off. These wouldn't be a fit for me , but still look like quality parts. Nice video.

Congrats on picking up some CMM off-road detachable mirrors! I have had them for awhile now. I really like that they’re really easy to put together after you take the doors off. But like you said how tight they are into the Jeep you are limited to what you’re viewing. Guess it would be nice to have an option on the mirror size. I might have to take the mount off to run some wiring for the dash cam my wife got me for Father’s Day. Guess my next question would be what tube doors are you thinking about? Awesome install and review video!

CMM was at Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam last year. I talked to them in length about these, and ALMOST bought a set, but you're right about being PRICEY. Ultimately, that was the reason I didn't get them. But, they are definitely high quality, and probably very well worth the expense. Great vid as always!! Btw.... did I spy a blonde wig at the end??😳😳😏😏🤣🤣🤣🤘🏻🤘🏻

I also have them on my Gladiator but wish they had at least another inch or two, or offer the option to purchase a 8 or 9 inch rod. They are very well made.

not sure if i wrote this before, bad memory haha - if u want the mirrors lower, u can use the mounts on the opposite side - ie - the driver side on the passanger side --- just mount them on the lower grab handle screw ----they work perfect and are not as high and u wont smack your head on them when not payin attention hahaa

I’ve heard you can swap these to the other side and put them on the bottom of the grab handles, would that work?

I have these mirrors, they're great except I wish they extended out another inch or two so I can see behind me. They do cover the blind spots but with all the doors and top off those blind spots aren't that bad anyway. I don't use these on the trails so clearance wouldn't be an issue for me.

Maybe they could have telescopic pole to stick out further when on road.

These are the items I look for to add to my old skool J2000 and J10. I just hate to start cutting up the bodies. Just if someone would fab parts for them like the new Jeep's restorations would be easier and wheeling would be better not taking off half the door skin by tapping the steal mirror of that age Jeep

It seems like CMM should make the arms a bit longer or possibly have a screw on extension to allow the mirrors to extend out a few more inches. I understand the concept for the clearance but 95% of people mall crawling want better visibility with the mirrors. Clearance isn't an issue for most of us.

Truthfully. I wish keep would design the jeeps to keep there mirrors on when doors are off. It can't be that fricken hard. But anyway. Looks great.

$140 ain’t bad considering you avoid getting a ticket and possibly avoid a wreck by not seeing a car plus they look nice ! That’s the way I see it !
