Bryce is a stud. He really helped us out on one of our trips to sand hollow. He came down to the shop at 10pm and fixed my buddies jeep so we could keep wheeling the next day! Great looking jeep
That just might be one of the most comprehensive rig walk arounds I've ever seen. One bad ass machine. Top shelf everything. One of the most common sayings when it comes to Jeep builds is, "No such thing as a finished Jeep build" or something to that effect but I'd say that's pretty much a wrap for this build. Sure, you could tweak a couple of things, cosmetic for the most part but all the hardcore mods are a done deal. Dem Boyz at Dixie know how to build a beast!
That is one badass Jeep!! The V8 is sweet. But for some reason im more impressed with everything he did under the jeep. Can’t wait to see who else you run into at EJS. Have an awesome time!
That is one bad azz JL build!!! Making me have second thoughts on keeping my JKUR & not getting a JLUR. 😏 Thanks again for sharing Eddie, Cindy and Dixie 4 Wheel Drive!
Cant wait to see the videos from moab. My safari line ran into you and mel on our way out of 7 mile rim, glad you have a sense of humor, your assessment of that diff glide plate was right on...it really was kinda gay. Lol. Good stuff👍👍
@@wayalife likewise. I started watching your videos when I got my first jeep in October 2017 and said, " I wanna do that shit!!!" And now I've got a 2018 JKU rubicon, and I'm loving it👍👍 Moab is awesome. Thanks for the videos👍
With these JL's having an 8" longer wheelbase than a 1991 Jeep 5.9 Grand Wagoneer and the same width I'm surprised that they aren't coming with a V8 from the factory. I thought a JK was big until I drove a JL, a JL (41ft) has a 3 foot larger turning radius than a Wagoneer(37ft). To put that in perspective my V8 CJ5 has a 32 foot turning radius.
Putting a 5.7 or 6.4 with the mds might improve your mpg. I had a JK that got 16-18 mpg. Traded it for a 4X4 crew cab 2500 Heavy Duty and and that got 16MPG. So you put that engine in a lighter Jeep and you might have the power and the MPG.
Too bad they dont come stock with an option to get a Hemi. For a vehicle that can easily exceed 50k, you would expect this to be an option. 3.6 V6 is underpowered for a vehicle this size, especially when you add a lift, giant tires, and kit it out.
Matt.... comeawn dude. Government regulations dictate that an average of all vehicles produced have to meet a certain mpg rating. That’s why more passenger vehicles that are fuel efficient are produced vs say your Jeep trackhawk. If we didn’t have these government restrictions, Jeep would have the freedom to produce v8s, 60 axles etc
