Damn man.. watching this video leaves me with a deeper love for my Liberty then I already had before, this is just..simply amazing that's all there is to it. To be honest all this time I never thought my Liberty would be able to keep up with the fancy Wranglers and Rubicons but now, watching this video my confidence has gone up a little bit. From a fellow Liberty owner to all others.. I give a deep respect.
I've got one and it really impressed me when we took it out we went through so much more than we thought it would have. They are a real jeep I can keep up with both of my XJ's on the trail for the most part but the tiny wheel base also gives it some advantages over the xj. It impressed me enough to want to spend some money on it a cheap lift and bigger tires is on the list for it now
I love my ‘04 Liberty Renegade. I’ve taken it on several trails throughout Alaska, including the infamous Stampede Trail (Into the Wild), and Fish Creek (Top Gear US when they came to Alaska). They are great little rigs and solidly built. I’m about to hand mine off to my daughter.
One of the best models of the Liberty by far. And 5 hearts to whomever did this video of perfect off roading in a Jeep Liberty! 💛💛💛💛💛 #Jeeplife #Jeepoffroad #Jeepnation
Bought a 2006 Liberty Renegade four years ago Engine has been solid all I have done is brakes. Just put a 3inch Lift on it. 245000KM Mileage...my Top speed in it 110MPH.
have a 2007 , can't wait for a heavy snow day since i got it , easy break through the 2 feet snow on driveway while left my neighbor behind who still shoveling his driveway.
It's lifted. They had a short run of these from early 01 to mid or early maybe I'm not sure it made it to mid but that first run, one of which my own KJ is as I took delivery of mine in 0CT of 01 after ordering it and having it built just for me the way I wanted it. These first ones in 01-02 like mine are 'Pre-Lowered' liberties. The Jeep Liberty was lowered by 22 mm (7/8 -inch) at the front and 19 mm (3/4-inch) in the rear for a smoother highway ride, while preserving the off-road capability. The change was effective in early April,02 and does not affect products produced prior to April of 2002. It rolled too easily doing the cones and one driver, rather than realize the Jeeps limits rolled it like on the last cone, some say on purpose. He walked away with minor scratches and the Jeep Liberty held up quite well actually but they had a shit fit about it and made them lower it. It isn't by much but in the real world off road your later models stock have about 1" less overall clearance. Other than this there is no reason to own an early model. While I love my KJ and have owned it 17 years the best years to own are 04 through 06 with 05 being in my opinion the year to shoot for. I fully expect to own another one in the future. The one we have has been a gem.
Hey quick question: Someone near me is sellling his 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD with only 18,600 miles (yes, 18,6k) for $2,600 usd. His wife passed away and he is looking to get rid of it. Is it a good deal? The exterior looks very good. Thanks!
I would buy it I own a 2003 and it’s my little mule, 140,000 miles and still going strong not the greatest gas mileage for a car that size but reliable and easy to maintain .
It bugs me that people put Cherokee Liberty Jeeps down as girly cars but in fact they are very capable 4x4s and if girls like them all the better. I have a 2007- 2.8 crd one I must admit that I do not like its look as someone once said as they are so heavy they could have made them bigger I think if it was 6 inches wider it would look great and be much more stable as they are to tall and narrow.
Some guys are FOS. F them. For highway, then some not so deep off road, i have my 06 Lib. Sits high as most wranglers and rides better on streets. Most Mustangs are V6 too and a girlie car lately. And cannot take bad roads. That is a real girlie car lately..
