Jeep Overland Camper - Quick video showing setup and breakdown of the Hatchet Overland Camper 

yeah it really made me rethink how i was going to camp, so i'm glad I got the top before investing in say a drawer system or hard shelves in the back etc.. you can spend almost as much on drawers as the camper cost. 2 zarges boxes i have found will hold just about everytnig that deserves to go in a box and since they are removable I have a functional jeep at home when going to the store etc.. love the setup.

So it has led lights on the inside but yes having additional lighting for external would be useful. It is designed with setup for a rear and side awning. I’ll be making a video on that hopefully next week. They will be coming out with a liner for cold weather. That’s in the world. It already has outlets located in the “night stand area in the loft for both usb b and c. The way I chose to setup my solar was by having it charge the jeep battery and the jeep battery charges my jackery which runs the fridge. So far, I run my stuff all the time and the 100w panel has been sufficient to keep everything topped. I’ll be curious to see if I struggle when I run the Wyoming bdr in august and am taking starlink with me. Starlink pulls about the same as my fridge. So we will see if having a battleborn battery installed to skip the jeep battery will be a better plan. Basically I would use the same setup but might move the fridge to the Battleborn battery. @@aMAYSingLife sounds like you're getting it all setup nicely. Just another idea, those LED Strip Lights can be attached with VHB tape, so no holes. They have color changing ones with remote, that would give you a nice camping light at low cost. Or hook it up to your speaker wire and you have disco lights, 😆

Yes the oem too had a hole in the top in the rear of the jeep that allows for entry through that hole into the camper. They went out of business so unfortunately mine and about 20 others are all that are out there.. still works perfectly with no leaks etc..

thats my understanding although might end up with a gladiator version first. not sure their schedule but they told me they have been getting a lot of bronco inquiries so i'm sure they are working on it. with the width in the back on the bronco this type solution would be pretty tight.

The way I pack my rig I always leave a step worth of room in the rear (it typically holds a chair and water bag. This allows me to stealth camp if needed leaving all of my gear in place. It’s really quite easy to access those two latches even when loaded. We just got back from camping for about 3 weeks while filming the Wyoming bdr north to south (episodes coming) and the camping experience was fantastic..

this one has the Exped 4" air mattress that has foam in it. So it's a combination of air and foam and I have to say it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. So good I bought a couple that were sized right that I could put them together and I use it in the motorhome. This mattress comes with the hatchet camper. you could replace with a standard mattress but I dont think it would be as good.

Sorry for the delay… when I bought mine it was 8500 installed plus I added the solar panel and controller. So you are looking around that but check with them as costs could be changing due to well, due to everything going up..

Do you swap the tops? Or can I keep my hard top? Thanks
