Many times to reach a Remote Wild Trout stream-I plowed through old logging Skid roads -in the middle Fork Feather River wilderness region. Roads were completely overgrown with overhanging growth! Couldn’t tell there was a road in many spots. A Few times I had to cut a large 4” + tree out of the way. Just drove over 2-3’ High young pine saplings -growing up in few spots. The old yellow 82’ Toyota 4X4 Truck hardly showed a scratch after ploughing through. That road you were on was a highway compared. Cool Vid good to get the family out👍🇺🇸

I'm wondering if their is an assayers shack in the middle if nowhere would it have possible the miners were working the stream/ creek you crossed? Thinking it might have been worth it to hunt up/ down along the creek. Nuggets can be surface finds

My friends bought a gold claim there in mid eastern Idaho, with 5 tunnels on it. They said it was mandatory to have heavy boots, snake guards and a shotgun. The rattlers were incredibly thick in the area. Even the waste ore dump had good value ore in it.
