I needed to replace the ambient air temperature thermistor located in this same mirror housing. This video was the best example of removal of the mirror exterior. Thanks, pal!

Great tip; getting to those clips is tricky. I put some tape along the mirror edge to give a bit of protection

Be sure to light 'em up before you reassemble. You might get a new bulb that doesn't work. ;)

hi, i change the bulb thinking it was burn....but the new one dont start neither.....i check with voltimeter and i see is not tension in the terminal.......do you know why this could happend?

Is this pretty much the same for the 2014 grand cherokee? Both of my side mirror lights rattle horribly when the stereo is turned up.

HELLO someone hit my side view mirror on the passenger side the back piece like your holding in the video came off and the glass covering the bulb cracked , I was able to put the back piece back on til I get it fix do you know if the parts would be expensive and what the cost would look like to fixThank You

I assume your speaking of the front parking/turnsignal bulb. The bulbs on the front are accessed by taking the bolts/screws out of the inner fender liner at the front and pulling it back enought to reach up inside. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe

Depends on the part of the world I guess. In the USA the drivers side is the left and the passenger side is the right.

Hi, thanks for the video, I have a question if you can answer please, my Renegade dont come with lights in the mirrors, if I buy new mirrors is just plug and play? The wires to this funtion is already in the door? Thanks

I dont know for sure if it will be just plug in play. On the Ram trucks its not....there are more steps such as going online and changing the sales codes and downloading them back to the vehicle to make them work. This may be the same case with the Renegade, I cant say for sure because I havent had the chance to try it myself. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe

I personally don't but hopefully someone reading these comments might. Just to clarify......are you wanting to just replace a damaged mirror piece or are you wanting to upgrade to a heater mirror and the Jeep doesn't have heated mirrors?

In the introduction I'm standing in front of a newer Cherokee. The repair was filmed on a Renegade. Sometimes the intros and outros get filmed at later dates
