If you have a welder and are into custom cars, trucks, or Jeeps this is a project that you will most likely tackle at some point in time. A friend is swapping Jeep Gladiator Rubicon axles into his Jeep JL sport and had tacked in all of his bracketry where he wanted. All I had to do was finish weld everything in order to finish the job. Follow along as I show my process and give a few welding and fabrication tricks along the way.

From an electrical standpoint point the electricity will take the path of least resistance which is all the paths at the same time. Because there is a gap in bearings it is more likely that 99% do the electrons will flow through the rest of the pumpkin. I imagine it would be super hard to smoke a bearing. A quality ground is way more important than where you place it in this case.
